Binocular tripod adapter
The Quick Release Tripod Adapter allows for quick and easy connect- disconnect of your binocular to your tripod but unlike others, it can't fall of!! will fit any brand binocular with a 1/4-20 connection. (usually hidden under a plastic cap in the hinge of your binocular).
With a detachable Arca Swiss dovetail quick base. Which as Arca Swiss and 1/4-20 mounting options.
INCLUDED:
- Adapter post x 1,
- Threaded stud x 1,
- Arca Swiss dovetail base x1,
- 4mm allen wrench x 1,
- 2mm allen wrench x 1.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- 1. Remove cap covering the binocular tripod adapter socket.
- 2. Insert the threaded stud into the binocular tripod adaptersocket and tighten using the 4.0mm Allen wrench.DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
- 3. Using the 2.0mm Allen wrench, tighten the set screw inthe threaded stud. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
- 4. Attach adapter post to the tripod plate utilizing thetripod's 1/4-20 mount.
- 5. Mount the binoculars to the tripod by inserting the threaded stud into the adapter post. Tighten by handusing the locking knob until secure.
- 6.Loosen the locking knob in a counterclockwise direction, By pressing the safetylock to remove the binocular stud.
Binocular Prerequisites
1-Your binocular must have an 1/4" screw hole.
Tripod Prerequisites
1- A standard 1/4" mounting stud or an Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp if you plan on mounting using the arca-swiss dovetails or 1/4" screw hole.

Very well built, solid bino adapter. The quick release function is especially nice. I can't figure out what the base portion is supposed to fit in though. It doesn't fit a vixen base, or a finder base, or a tripod camera base. Not sure what it is used for.

I have two sets of Vortex binos and wanted a way to attach either to a monopod or tripod. This did the trick. After you attach it to the front of your bino, just unscrew the knob on top, push in the little button and the binos come right off. Neat.

I bought this just hoping that it would last long enough that I could get one of the name brand bino clamps. Turns out this is built as well as any bino clamps out there and it comes with the arca plate which is extra with the name brand versions. So far I’m extremely happy with this purchase.
