The size we purchased was an xl larger which normally fits my child she couldn't get this size xl to fit her.

My daughter loved it but it had really long arms that didn’t fit the size. My daughter is 7 1/2 and is usually a size 8 and we had to order a size up for it to fit comfortably. I did have to order two sets just because the first one was cut and made bad. The waist on the pants is not elastic but more like a shoe lace for the tie and it was very short so we couldn’t even tie it. I had to make a knot on each side just so the pants wouldn’t fall down. It’s made from that cheap scratchy sweater material that peels so I’m afraid to wash it. I’ve been spot cleaning it. It’s actually been a pain because it’s so light that for kids this age it gets dirty quick so you may only get a few wears out of it. To be honest it’s not worth the $40. I recommend if you have money to spare but don’t expect it to hold up or wear for a long time. I truly think I wasted my money but they count on us weak parents of Sonic fanatic kids that we can’t say no too and for the fact that there is not many sonic outfits for girls so we have to take what we can get if we want our kids to wear their favorite character.

My daughter had a sonic movie premiere party for her birthday. The sweatsuits was an excellent fit for it.
