Like others have said, the tape didn't stick to the aluminum rail at first. Since others warned of this I tried just the last 10mm of the strip first and it would not stick at all. So I cleaned the bottom of the aluminum rail with alcohol and then it stuck perfectly.I love how bright these lights are and highly recommend the product. The instructions should say to clean the rail first, though.

I ordered this product because I run a small 3d printing business and I wanted something that would make it easier to inspect my products as they are printing. Unfortunately, I never got to test out the lights because the adhesive that is used to attach the lights to the printer absolutely would not stick to the frame. Before applying the light strip, I even thoroughly cleaned and dried the spot I would be attaching it to. I spent nearly twenty minutes firmly pressing the strip onto the frame, and every time I would release pressure it would immediately fall off. I followed their installation video exactly but I could not get the light strip to stick. I'm really glad I ordered just one to try out before ordering them for all of my printers.

This led strip fit on my a1 with no problems and is super bright been on 24/7 with no issues. Also very cheap compared to some of the other printer light setups. And it was super easy to install just wipe down with iso alcohol and stick it on. Only complaint is the sticky around the light sensor kinda sucks but nothing a little glue or double sided tape can't fix.

The product idea is amazing but the lack of quality adhesive is the let down, it simply will not stick to the aluminum rail of the A1, I'll have to find a thin adhesive tape to use, I think the tape used to glue phones together would work.

Light strip WILL fall off. A TOTAL waste of money. I predict that it will fall of during your print job and probably ruin it. This thing is not worth a single penny. Cheap junk.

this thing integrates perfectly. the sticky side isn’t perfect but it does the job. i had to add a piece of double sided foam tape with the light sensor cut out to hold the sensor on . no issues since

The light works great and it is very bright. It is really handy that it uses the existing light in the printer to be triggered and also the accessory port to power the light. The two issues:1. The plastic housing for the sensor doesn't fit correctly around the camera light and I had to modify it a little bit by trimming the plastic at the top. I then used a low strength glue gun to attach the plastic housing to the camera light area.2. The adhesive is poor quality as others mention, which I solved around the camera light with hot glue, as mentioned above. I attached the LED strip using a no adhesive 3D print design on Makerworld. The specific print to look for is: A1 - BIQU Panda Lux LED Cover.I hope this helps anyone who purchases the light. It works great with these minor changes.

The adhesive on the LED strip flat out sucks! It is tacky to the touch be does not want to stick to the underside of the X axis rail. The adhesive on the cloth tape is a joke throw it away and get a piece of gorilla tape, the tape on the camera mount is just as horrible! It does not cost enough for me to warrant my time to do a return! I will do what I can to make this work. I will be looking to an alternative solution!
