The machine comes with a small pamphlet that explains how to set everything up and it only took a couple of seconds to connect the mic to the speaker. You can also connect another device via bluetooth (e.g., a phone) at the same time as the mic, so you can play background music while also using the mic to sing. The speaker itself is pretty powerful, and there's no annoying high-pitched feedback even if you stand right in front of the speaker. Also, there are a couple of fun features -- you can change the light settings and there are also voice modulations you can do with the mic. Overall, it's a fun gift or party item to have.

Please, whatever you do, don’t get this for your kids unless you’re ready to hear non-stop singing! Seriously, they haven’t stopped. If you go through with it, I highly recommend ordering some earplugs as well. On the bright side, it might be great for parties… or if you need a break from peace and quiet!

What a fun product to have! I love that this Karaoke machine is perfect for any situation, whether you want to bring it to travel or if you just want to sing at home! There are several features of this device that I find really useful such as the karaoke function which will "lower" the volume of the lyrics in your song so that your voice will shine through.I also like that you can change the colors on the color bar and that it is operated on batteries, unlike other karaoke devices that may require a plug-in. Even if you weren't using this for karaoke purposes, it's a fun device to use the microphone! I can definitely see this as an excellent and affordable choice to get your little one for Christmas.
