We unboxed this on Friday before a camping trip and as luck would have it, our tire blew on the way to the campground. This was a lifesaver... easy and convenient to change out the tire for the spare. We were on our way in no time. Highly recommend!

The device is OK in and of itself. It is strong enough to support boat and trailer and elevates tires so that on duel axle trailer the other tire can be changed. The only problem is when trying to back the trailer up on the ramp, the ramp slides away. You either need another person to anchor the ramp (not a great idea safety wise), or put a towel/mat under the ramp to give it more grip. Even then it is still likely to move some and may take multiple attempts before you have success.

This is well made and works great. I wouldn’t call it “light†but it’s certainly lighter than a giant block of wood.

A flat tire never happens at a convenient time, usually it's raining or the middle of the hottest day of the year. What makes this even more of a challenge is having to get the jack out, crawl around to find the right lift point, get the tire of the ground and only then start the tire swap.This simple gizmo reduces frustration levels dramatically. Drive the good tire onto the ramp to avoid messing with the jack, no more ground work. Another plus is it raises the working environment by 4 inches. So better on the back as well.Do yourself a favor, buy one. Don't wait.I have one per trailer, right next to the tire wrench. My trailers are dual axle, single tire per axle side (so not a dually trailer). They all weigh under 8k lb.Always make sure your spare is aired and no more than 5 years old (or there about) to avoid the flat spare surprise or a delamination 10 miles down the road.

Got it today, and I used it today, site beats using a jack, had tire off and another tire on all in less then 5 min, seems good quality
