The best spinner knob for truck. Used multiple knobs, the others would always move around. This one hasn’t adjusted while I’m backing up. Nice and secure to steering wheel.

The band mount for the steering wheel is metal. The spinner knob is a quality plastic, with a quality feeling silicone grip surface. The bearing is very tight and smooth. There is no slop. I mounted it to my 47 hp tractor and it works great. I like the offset so you can mount it toward the inside of the wheel and it does not get in the way when you are not using it, and it does not snag your heavy winter gear when I am out plowing with it.

Can’t believe I went 50 years with one of these. It’s perfect, so easy to park and make turn’s. I rarely get excited about things but this knob makes me happy. Easy install with two rubber sleeves so you can fit on most steering wheels. Mines a little fat but it works great.

Wanted to add extra peace of mind for driving after shoulder surgery. This met the intent. One thing to caution is that the teeth on the underside will cut the steering wheel. It comes with a protector to put between device and steering wheel but it made it too bulky to close. Ended up using sports tape to help prevent damage to wheel.

Easy to install using a simple screwdriver. Easy to use - I practiced before the surgery.It has slipped a little to the right - I guess I use it more for right than left turns - but it was easy to move it back.I have a newer model Rav4 and the steering wheel is nicely padded/thick - so I put a bit of thin rubber/plastic to protect it - might be why it slipped, but protected the steering wheel.

Honestly would do 3.5 if Amazon Allowed it. Lets start with the feel of this thing. It does indeed feel really solid out of the box and the knob spins with just enough resistance to not be loose and feels really nice in use. Overall the build quality is good. I like the color and the silicon makeup of the knob is neither a detractor to its function. The box and instructions are all in chinese/japanese. Not that it matters, you'll end up making it work through ingenuity (explained below).Installation. So the knob comes with two silicon pad things to fill the gaps on your steering wheel. Which seemed like a good idea. Except that if your steering wheel is a little to small or little to big, well your outta luck - its gonna be loose. I tried my darndest to get both filler pads to work on my steering wheel to no avail ('07 Toyota Highlander). I simply could not get the nut into the back end (the pads caused the alignment of the holes to be off). What I would really have liked is several small thin pads to fill the gaps and make this thing tight on the steering wheel. That said, and from what you can see in the pictures, is my handy fix. What I ended up doing was wrapping the steering wheel a bit in plastic food wrap (you can see it in the pictures). Then using several small strips of double sided sticky foam tape. This was my last resort as I had tried diligently for over an hour to get the included pads to work.It is still not as tight as Id like it to be - I foresee taking it off and tweaking it down the future. But for now it will be fine. My truck is my mobile office so this will be getting daily heavy use. I will update some time in near future.As you can see in the pictures its not entirely 'rounded around' the steering wheel and is kinda weirdly gaped. Not a problem really as it is much tighter then the stock pads allow. It wont move left or right, but I can see it moving inwards if you push to hard on it.What I think this thing really needed was two nuts on each side - then you could really crank it down and make it very tight on the steering wheel. The hook/slot thing just makes you frustrated as you try and squeeze the crap out of the thing to make it work/align with nut. Needless to say I swore a lot in that 60+ minutes. In the end I don't like having to jerry rig new products to make them work for their intended purpose. Especially when your going to be using this to drive and having it slip back while mid turn could be disastrous.
