Got this just to have one. Very handy to have just to clip things together, and possibly useful in an emergency as a piece of equipment you can rely on, for example a munter hitch for an emergency rappel or belayAlso check out that manual that comes with a single carabiner, this thing is no joke.

I have not had the opportunity to test this biner under load, especially not for any climbing, but it is the perfect size for my nalgene, and works great clipping packs or gear to vehicles and each other. The gate feels very sturdy and is just the right amount of stiffness to open. The enamel coating has not chipped in several months of constant use. Overall it’s exactly what I needed, and continues to serve me well.
