I'm guilty of overspending and buying these for applications in addition to/outside of rock climbing. Small, lightweight, but ridiculously strong means you'll always be prepared for whatever your carabiner demands. Pricey, but the colors are great and they feel solid.

These are very lightweight and sturdy, and great for many pack rigging uses, or any time you need to quickly attach pieces of gear together. They're light enough to not notice they're there until needed, and clutch to have on hand when out exploring.

Perfect for any needs hiking, climbing or outdoors, colors make them easy to see in bag and they’re strong! I also like the size as it’s easy to clip on and off.

If you’re looking to save weight and space on your rack, the BD Mini Wires (23g) are a great option. They are small though, as advertised, which makes using them with gloves a little more challenging than my other favorite racking carabiners, the Wild Country Helium 3 (38g), the BD Oz (28g), and the Petzl Ange S (28g) and L (34g). With larger gate openings and snag-free (but wider) noses, the Helium and Oz are a little easier to manipulate for my sometimes clumsy sausages, but the weight savings across a double-rack for multi-pitch and alpine climbing make the Mini Wire a better choice for me
