We purchased because we always are losing our glasses OR need readers handy. These are a soft material so you don’t even notice wearing them. These ends have a unique way of fitting snug on your glass bow ends. My husband wears them all the time. Never without his glasses now. Works for sunglasses, computer glasses, readers, etc. Super handy.

I just feel like sharing because this is LIFE-CHANGING for me & I'm sure it could be for people like me.I have been wearing glasses most of my life. I have myopia, astigmatism, & recently keratoconus, so my vision is BAD bad & I need to wear glasses the entire time i am awake if i want to see. I don't like wearing contacts, glasses are just easier for me & more hygienic.Riding roller coasters/thrill rides, I would ALWAYS remove & store my glasses for fear of losing them on the ride, which made the experience limited. I wouldn't be able to see the ride, only feel the motion, the wind, the drops. We know our Disneyland loves visuals in rides to add to the experience: the storytelling in Guardians, the Parrs in the Incredicoaster, the Yeti in Matterhorn, etc. Anyway, I recently came across these straps that SECURE my glasses, & for the first time I can finally SEE the rides/on rides!!!! If you've ever seen videos of babies getting glasses for the first time, see how they initially try to remove the glasses, & the eventual joy & emotion they get when they realize they can see, that's how I felt when I had my glasses secured with these straps!I've tested them so far at Disneyland, DCA, & Sea World thrill rides & they are amazing! As anyone who wears glasses full-time can attest, dropping them on the pavement even once results in multiple scratches on the lenses. To mitigate this issue and extend the time between replacement pairs, I use a strap attached to the frame temples even though I may be thought of as a nerd. Woven fabric straps like this one are my preference due to the added comfort and flexibility that is characteristic of woven products. This particular strap has proven to be more durable than average but still requires replacement a once or twice a year when the fabric tension that holds it to the glasses frame relaxes. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance and durability of this strap, even if it needs replacing once or twice annually. I would much rather replace the strap than buy a new pair of glasses.

Construction looks okay but, my Leopold plastic sunglasses earpieces are too big for these straps. They do not fit.

Does what I need. I used them on my trip to Antarctica where there were strong winds especially when on the water and the sun/reflection was intense so needed shades (polarised, in case anyone is planning on going!) but also needed my hands free to hold on to cameras and phone and securely getting in and out of mini zodiac boats - I could just let my glasses fall off around my neck without any issue**I think only on one occasion there was the risk the glasses could blow off over my neck even with the straps on, during extreme wind, but for most people I'm not sure they will get to that level of wind

Cheap and comfortable... you could perhaps want them a little bit longer but they are still good, especially as the material is stretchy
