I received this bow earlier than what was expected. That was a nice surprise. Unfortunately the bow came in a 60lb draw weight. I thought I ordered the 45lb limbs. I double checked my order and realized my mistake so I did what I had to do. I strung the bow and shot it. Now I have had a bad shoulder from a recent injury so I was worried about the heavy poundage. The bow was smooth and I could feel the weight but it felt like my 50lb PSE Coyote. I shot the first arrow and it hit where I wanted it. So I continued to shoot. I had made brace height adjustments to 7.5 inches and shooting heavier arrows it shot where I wanted it. I took out my heaviest arrows that where made by an army buddy in Alaska. They never shot right out of my bows but the where beautifully crafted. These heavy arrows shot great out of this bow. In fact I had bought some cheap carbon fletched arrows off of Amazon and they flew like darts. The finish on the bow could be better but you can easily slap some finish on it yourself. I have six bows that I have picked up over the years, all used because I could not afford a new bow. This bow is more affordable than picking up a used bow. It is always fun to shoot something that works as designed and this bow has allowed me to shoot better groupings than I have shot in all my bows combined. Yes, I have to warm up a little because of the poundage and I have lost an inch on my draw but this bow is a sweet shooting bow. I have also noticed that the more I shot the bow the easier it was to shoot the heavy weight. Second, I am a three under shooter but with this bow I am more accurate shooting split fingers. I am sure a more experienced trad archer can explain the difference but it doesn't matter. This bow is a winner and I plan to order different limbs. Now I can afford to have a recurve and longbow as well as varying weights. I would highly recommend this bow for the guy who wishes he could afford more. Thank you for such a wonderful product and a swift delivery.

Very pleased with this bow, at 60lbs. My meter says 58.9lbs at 28â€. Good enough for me. Now im debating to get recurve limbs or a different pound longbow limbs.

Gorgeous bow. When I attempted to string it, it was very difficult. I thought, as I have never had a longbow before and read that the limbs were thicker, that this was normal. The stringer popped off as soon as it was strung, and won't stay on to unstring it. Once strung, the brace height was 14.25" from the deepest part of the grip, well over the 9 inch recommended height. Upon measuring the string, I found it was only 50". For a 60" AMO longbow, the string should be 57" long. I would highly recommend not attempting to even string this bow until you've ensured the string is proper length (my mistake was not doing so) or buying a new one of proper length. Or better yet...buy from a different vendor.

Very nice bow, it came with bamboo wood limbs instead walnut wood as it was advertised . The only con was that the shipment took long.
