Saw these balls in a beginner squash DVD and was pleased to find them on Amazon. They truly are beginner balls, which is perfect for teaching my 8-year-old son. We will migrate to blue in time, and I hope he will eventually reach double yellow, but one step at a time. These orange balls are exactly what I expected, and shipping was quick. I'd order from them again.

Balls are not to squash. I do not know why the offer as if they were. Are anti stress balls.

Full disclosure, I do not play squash and know NOTHING about the game other than the absolute basics. Therefore this review is intended for people that may look at these for the same reason I did - as dog toys.Aggressive chewing dogs will destroy a tennis ball in one game of fetch (or at least mine will). The indestructible dog balls aren't really much better but are much more expensive. Everyone recommended squash balls. I did also buy regular squash balls and those work great so far. The regular squash balls are, from what I can tell, smooth hollow balls with thick hard durable rubber shells. THESE ARE NOT HARD, SMOOTH, NOR DURABLE RUBBER. These are, as another reviewer noted, LIGHTWEIGHT STRESS BALLS. Yes, they are branded and apparently intended for squash. Maybe for very young children just learning...I really do not know. I do know that when I go to conferences half the vendors give away logo covered stress balls for you to squeeze at your desk instead of your co-worker's throat. Some are firm, so are so squishy that they feel like a wet disk sponge. These are the later. I can easily take two fingers and squeeze them to basically touching through these balls. For fun I throw one to my dog (a grown lab) and in about 3 minutes I had nice chunks of orange sponge. Took it away before she decided to eat it. Gave away the other two to people with cats (really small dogs).Again, in complete fairness to the seller, these may serve some purpose in squash - which is why I gave them 3 stars. They are absolutely HORRIBLE as dog toys though.

I like this - very bouncy (think like racket ball, but softer), so plenty of fun for kids and beginners.

These balls are not for the sport known as Squash...they're much too big. Instead of 'squash' they should've used the term "Squishie" The product is more like a stress ball, in that it is nearly tennis ball sized, made of squeezable foam. Disappointed as I was looking for a ball of similar style, but the size of an actual squash (the sport) ball. Overpriced product, I could've purchased these at the dollar store and saved a good sum of money.

If you're new to squash, BUY this ball. Awesome for kids. My son is 6 and really enjoying this ball.
