I read a review about the 1" letter size not being quite 1". They fall right between the size of 3/4" and 1". I have both. If you are looking for 1" letter true to size, these are not it. Other than that, they were fine.

They are your basic set of letters for a sign. The letter also come with a couple extra characters that most sets don’t come with like stars and other non-traditional characters. I really only had a chance to use the regular characters. Those worked fine for me.

I was hoping to be able to write some Finnish lyrics on my foam letterboard, but I only have 4 K's... Finnish uses a lot of K's. I probably should've seen it coming.As far as valid complaints go, some of the letters weren't broken off cleanly and have nodes sticking off of them that will need to be snipped. I was hoping to bypass that when I bought pre-separated letters. Also, some of the letters are warped and don't sit flat, and it's difficult to get them to stay on as a result.I'll probably still order another set just because it's one of the better deals, I need those K's, and I also need the letters I buy to match these. ;)

These are nice, sturdy letters. They stay in the slots on my message board and are bright white, so they stand out well against the black background.

These letters are not 1". They are just slightly over 3/4", and so did not fit my board. Very disappointing.

The tail on each letter isn't long enough to hold in the letter board. Unless you have your board on a flat horizontal surface you could be ok... but if you want people to read it on a wall or somewhere vertical - 100% guaranteed letters will fall off.

I love that they are already separated, that is a plus.... unfortunately the tabs are not quite long or wide enough to stay in a felted noticeboard
