Very small, low quality. Mostly sandstone with very little actual opal material. Photos do not match the product and there is no enough opal material to buff and polish the stones into anything resembling the opals pictured. Not a good value for your money, check your local rock shop or rock hound club and you can get similar quality for free.

There are about two true black opals that I would argue are A-B grade, but there are other lovely opals included that I am comfortable calling AA grade. Granted, they all aren't black opals. I would say it is worth the money, but you may not get all black opals. Despite that, I would buy again, feeling that I am getting my money's worth out if this purchase.

I received rough stones of the size and quantity listed. Some were meh, some were astonishing in their beauty. After removing all the duff, what was left was very small. I used them in epoxy resin casting projects that turned out amazing.

dont fall for this scam pieces I recieved were size of bb's to maybe ¼" wide and very lil had any opal in them mostly was outer crust. have bought many minerals on amazon but never again

of the five small stones one of them had no color whatsoever and appears to be a common pebble
