It was so frustrating ordering tension rods for my large picture windows in the front of my house, because they are so wide. Everything I looked for in this longer length had parts that needed to be added and screwed into the window frame or the wall. I absolutely did not want to drill holes in my Pella window framing or in the walls. These are perfect, because they actually come in the longer size I needed and they fit perfectly in the window frame when adjusted correctly. It is important to know that these are not typical tension rods, but they work just like them. You adjust them the same way a little longer than needed and then slowly fit them from a slant to straight. You can tighten them when in place by twisting where the two rods come together. It is important to read the instructions, but they are very easy to place. They even hold multiple heavier drapes, which I was worried about. I actually had to place 4 panels, 2 on each side, so they would hang nicely when closed with some folds, instead of just hanging straight which does not look good. At this point I have ordered at least 5 of these. I actually use 2 together on one of the windows so I can hang beautiful lace curtains on the inside of the window behind the thermal drapes for a layering effect. Many brands like this also have very large cups at the end, like a shower curtain, that you can’t even slide your drapes onto. These do not have this problem. The ends are smaller. It is also very important to know that when you first place these, usually you won’t screw the center tight enough and they will end up falling and really scare yourself and your animals. This only happened to us twice the first week with one of the rods. It was totally a user error. Now they have been in place for 8 months and this has not happened again. We open and close these drapes daily so the rod is perfectly in place. The normal shower curtain rod from another brand I placed in the bathroom that was supposed to protect my walls has already made an indent in the wall and flaked some paint off. I am not happy about this. These rods have not made even a scratch on my Pella wood window frames and I am so pleased about this. This was actually one of my biggest worries. I highly recommend these if you have longer windows and you need a rod that you don’t want to have to bolt in somehow. I am so very pleased that I found and bought these. These are very well made and the quality is exceptional and they are beautiful. They look perfect.

Fits perfectly for my standard size bathtub/shower. Is sturdy and stays in place. Looks nice!

I was looking for a good silver shower rod for my new apt to hang a shower curtain and this seemed to fit the bill. it seems sturdy enough to hold a shower curtain and wasnt too hard to install. overall im satisfied with this product given the price

Not much to describe here. Received, unpacked, assembled, installed. As easy as that! Whole structure is made of metal, end caps are sturdy plastic with rubber tips at the ends for better stickiness to the wall. Very long if needed, I have one rod unused after assembly. Manual is included which I didn’t even look at. Simple, matches to our bathroom environment and does its job.

easy to assemble, not easy to use. fell after a month an no longer fits in the window, which makes no sense. frustrating. now we’ve had to loosen each piece enough to where it is unstable just to get it to *hopefully* stay put long enough for us to order a different rod. i don’t think it’ll stay up for another daysays it’s adjustable up to X amount of inches, but the pieces (or the ends at least) really aren’t adjustable so it needs to be *just* the right length
