I was in the verge of getting rid of these chairs because I absolutely hated the silver upholstery nails, but I’m so glad I didn’t! I opted instead to change to a black matte nail. I am so happy with how they turned out.The quality of the nails are just ok, but I put them in the previous nail holes and had no problems. However, if I tried to hammer them in in a new hole, the nails fell apart. This should be used as a replacement nail only.For the cost, to me it was worth it. I changed just shy of 400 nails and had issue with about 10, so not too bad!

Needed something stronger than a normal tack but not a nail. Worked perfect for holding my 12 ft dome pieces in place as I built it up.

I bought these for pinning the sides of my dining chairs that I’m upholstering and they are decent. They look nice and are easy to use. They are the correct size and length, but the problem is that they are not very sturdy or durable and they break easy.

I decided to diy my kitchen stools. I needed some to replace the ones that I was taking off the stools. I knew I wanted some black tacks. I'm glad I looked on Amazon because you get more for a very reasonable price. They are a smooth mat black,sturdy. Came out very nicely on my chairs using myself for the first time diy like this.

So many bent or lost their heads whilst I was trying to hammer them in that I abandoned them. I tried different hammers (tack hammer, upholstery hammer, ordinary hammer) and all had the same results.
