These have been on my list of things that needed to get done for 3 years and I finally bought them. On thicker velvet hangers they are a tight fit and don’t slide without tearing off the velvet. On the thinner ones they work great size wise, they fit snug but you can still easily slide them. The only problem I have is that they don’t open much. You will struggle getting denim materials and even dress pants into the clip, they work great for thinner fabrics but as the fabric gets thicker you can’t clip both sides and can only easily slide one side in the clip but their hold is strong so it’s not a huge deal. Overall I love them

These were perfect for converting some of my velvet-coated hangers into clip-hangers for my skirts. I've always disliked the way metal clips rotate on their bar and catch on each other or on my clothing; these don't rotate where they attach to the hanger, and the upper part - where you squeeze it to open the clip - doesn't stand out very much from the hanger and is soft with rounded corners, so it eliminates both problems. There is no hinge, you open the clip jaws by squeezing the opposite ends together, and the plastic is flexible enough at the joining point to work like a hinge. They do feel sturdy and durable though, and they hold my skirts securely. The inside of the clip jaws are velvet-coated as well, which protects fabric from snags. They're also easy to install: just squeeze them open and push them onto the lower bar of the hanger. And they look really nice! They do have a bit of an odor right out of the package, but it dissipates quickly; if you're sensitive to plastic off-gassing, I recommend opening them outdoors and letting them air out for maybe half an hour. I'm very happy with them and would buy again if I ever need more!

I like the design of these. How they latch onto existing hangers is great but there is a lot of inconsistency in the product. Some fit onto a hanger really tight and others are so loose they slide back and forth on the hanger.I noticed that some of my clips have what appeared to be dried hot glue within the teeth of the clips and they were even stuck to the cardboard they came clipped to.All things I can live with but the reason I will not purchase more of these is because the teeth don't open wide enough to hang jeans, and I even have a hard time getting the seams of my leggings into these teeth. Good news is they won't be falling off once you get them on there but getting them on there is no quick easy feat. I'll be purchasing a different brand for more of these as I want to hang all of my jeans, leggings, skirts, and shorts.
