For blocking holes in a window or sliding glass screen it does the job. What it doesn’t do is hide the repair well. Even with the correct color screen the repair is super obviously

I was surprised at how well this repair tape worked. We had some screen torn after the hurricane and needed a quick fix until we could afford to have the whole pool cage rescreened. We used this in the seams near the metal framing and it held the screen in place very well.

I recently bought the Secopad screen repair tape to fix a small tear in my window screen, hoping for a simple and effective solution. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating from the start. The adhesive on the tape was surprisingly weak and barely held to the screen, even after carefully cleaning and preparing the surface. Within just a few days, the tape started to peel at the edges, leaving the damaged area exposed again.The tape itself felt thin and flimsy, fraying easily and giving the repaired spot a messy appearance. To make matters worse, despite claims of being transparent, the tape was visibly noticeable once applied, making the screen look patchy and unattractive. Additionally, there seemed to be an unpleasant smell coming from the tape, which added to the overall poor impression and made the repaired area look even messier.Overall, I was disappointed with the Secopad screen repair tape. It didn’t hold up as promised, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone needing a reliable fix for their screens. If you want a lasting repair, consider investing in a better-quality tape.
