When I decided to paint my kitchen cabinets, I wanted to replace the hardware. However, removing the hinges turned into a nightmare as it caused the wood to split on my cabinet doors. Thankfully, I found a great product to mend the wood back into place. I had to use a clamp to make sure it stayed in place. Since I was going to paint over it, the color didn't matter. It was very easy to use and worth the money. The little spatula included in the package was just the right size for the job.

I use this to repair dings and dents in old Arcade game cabinets I restore. Dries hard and sands easy.

I used this on a cheaply made table that was basically stapled together. I used this to fill in all the staple holes, it dried to whatever material this is, after sanding the table the wood putty still stuck. I’m going to chalk paint this and use it as a plant table.

This product chipped right off the wood. The color is a grey, not black. Extremely disappointed.

I had to repair and smooth out a closet door frame. It came out perfect, and ready to repaint! So easy! Saving it for other projects!

The black version dries very light gray. Otherwise it works ok, but I would have bought something else had I known the color it dried.

When I first opened the container , I was skeptical. Ithougth it was too thin. I was wrong. This is SO easy to work with & the tools that came with it made my job even easier. Very pleased!!

This works exactly the same as any wall filler and does a perfect job when following out the correct preparations IE removing any dust. It is however much more tackier then any wall filler and does a fantastic job on small to medium sized projects, regardless of being vertical or laid flat. As always take into consideration that any filler will be subject to gravity therefore any vertical project may cause a pooling warped affect towards the bottom.This is a ready to use set and comes with 2 scrappers and 2 P400 sanding discs although to be honest you'd probably want to over fill and then use a P120 grit working your way down to surface level before moving into the finer grit papers. However this filler is brilliant white and therefore you likely to want to paint the surface.Long lasting, the majority of fillers are sold with some sort of cover under the lid minimalizing trapped air contact with filler that remains in the pot. I've seen clean film discs and discs with a metallic underside sadly these never seem to do anything, this product however has a two lid system one that even creates an airtight seal even once opened. I'm hoping that this will last a significant amount of time and thus far 4 weeks on there isn't any noticeable drying out.

I found this Wood Filler / putty kit quite useful. It's straightforward to use and yielded satisfactory results. The tools provided simplify the application process - handy to have everything in one kit, and the wood putty itself seems to be of decent quality. I've utilized it for minor repairs on my wooden furniture and floors, mixed results - scratches, cracks, were a bit less successful. But, small & big holes worked well & it dried firmly.I didn’t try mixing it with different pigments or stains, that might be a nice touch for matching wood finishes. But, I’m old school & I paint/ stain/ draw over putty when trying to match finishes. (Slower but I’m familiar with that approach).Overall, this is a decent option for basic wood repair tasks: holes particularly, and the satisfaction guarantee by the vendor offers some reassurance.. A full kit with putty, scraper, and sandpaper so everything you need to repair holes or deep cracks. Just apply, leave for 24 hours, and sand down. Did what it's supposed to on my old table and therefore I recommend it.

Review from my husband:This is a really good quality wood filler and it cures rock solid so working with it after is no problem ( drilling hammering etc). It's ideal for wooden furniture repairs as the colour is white so the correct colour can be achieved after use by using the correct stain that matches the original piece and it even comes with its own application tools - a spreader and sanding pads. It really is a step up from the normal stuff you get, and it is a fair-sized tin for the price. It's great value considering how much wood filler costs these days, I'm talking at least 20 quid for a tin this size! So it's a total bargain and very very easy to work with. Yet again, an unknown name in the British market that outperforms its contemporaries'. Super value and I look forward to other products by this brand. 5/5
