LOVE IT!!!We have owned many blenders (Oster and Ninja) over the years. This blender is fabulous. First of all, it is very easy to clean. You don't have to deal with the silicone rings that are breeding grounds for mold (Ninja). Use it, rinse and hand wash, air dry and repeat. The top, as some have said is a bit tight when new. Easy fix - just soak it in very hot water and let air dry. It's a hard plastic so needs time to be broken in. The pouring spouts are great. Blender leaked on first use, but that was my fault as I turned the pitcher to remove from base.. DO NOT DO THAT.. just lift it straight up off the base. The motor is very quiet compared to other blenders. I can make a morning smoothie without waking everyone in the house. Actually, I can make my smoothie the night before, in the pitcher and put it in any container. Milk, yogurt, frozen fruit, and banana hardly separate. If it does it's just 1/4". Shake it up and you're good to go. We've made soup, shakes, smoothies, veg/fruit juice in it. All good. We have weddings coming up this summer and will surely consider this blender to be a gift.

Haven’t found anything I don’t like. Great torque, reasonably quiet and versatile. Some reviews mention blends stall if not enough liquid. I haven’t found this to be a problem.

Overall, I love this blender, it works great. I'm please with it. I'm a little disappointed that the personal jar that comes with it is plastic and not glass. I ordered it because I thought the personal jar would have been glass too. Nevertheless, the versatility that comes with this blender makes it a must have.

I tried blending up a mixture of cottage cheese, grated cheese and marinara sauce and I wouldn’t, it would blend for a second, then it would just stop cutting the food, the blades where still spinning but nothing was happening. What had to be done was to push the food down into the blades and blend for another second and do the same thing again and again 9 more times for it to blend. After that I tried just blending ice because it has an ice function and I filled up 1/3 of the 48 oz glass cup with ice and hit the ice button. It blended the bottom ice some but not a lot and the rest of the ice that was not touching the blades was flung to the side of the bowl and obviously didn’t blend. This blender needs to babysit because u have to constantly push the food back into the blades.Quiet wise, it was alright, it’s not deafening but could wake a sleeping person. This was a waste of money, would not recommend it

Works well! Not loud! Doesn’t leave weird chunks in protein shakes. Comes apart and dishwasher safe!

Our previous blender was so loud that we had to leave the room while using it, and after just a couple of months, the blade mechanism started leaking. This new blender is a game-changer! While it’s still audible, it’s significantly quieter than our last one. We also appreciate its traditional blade system, which comes apart for easy cleaning—unlike our previous all-in-one design. For smoothies, we prefer using the small cup instead of the glass pitcher, and it works perfectly. Overall, we’re thrilled with this purchase!

I love this thing...use it daily to make a pitcher full of iced smoothies. I just use water, usually oatmeal, a couple of scoops of protein powder, a couple of bananas and half pitcher ice. About 30 seconds later it's done...no ice chunks...all smooth and frozen. If I were still a margarita or daiquiri guy, it would do the trick. I've had it about 90 days, and it's just great...much quieter than my last several.

They call this a quiet blender. In fact, it says quiet in huge writing on the box! But it is the noisiest blender I've ever heard! That is reason enough for me to give it such a low score. Why the heck would they say it's quiet? It's an outright lie.Because it's so noisy, I have to leave the room when I blend things. I have to turn it on the smoothie mode at least twice for it to blend my smoothie thoroughly, and it still leaves a couple of things out. It's very difficult to find a good powerful blender with a glass container. That's the only thing this has going for it.

Definitely a quieter machine, though large, frozen fruit will still be rather noisy when making the first part of a smoothie. There is a"smoothie" function that works very well, as well as a couple of others that I've yet to try. The base is heavy and solid, making tipping highly unlikely. The jar is made of heavy glass and the machine seems very well constructed overall. I've used this for making the ubiquitous smoothie, but also for summer soups like gazpacho, whipping updater and today, I used the blender to chop up onions and carrots for pea soup! I added water to the blender, then quarter onions and then baby carrots instead of doing this by hand and emptied the contents into the slow cooker with split peas for a great soup. For me, an efficient and hard-working blender such as this excellent one is a staple in the kitchen. I highly recommend this unit.

We had a Ninja before and spent more than I care to admit only for it to maybe last 1 1/2 years, so we thought we’d try something different. This was SIGNIFICANTLY quieter, and I wasn’t constantly cutting myself on the cone blades. I love that all pieces are dishwasher safe (all plastic top rack only)! My only feedback would be, I underestimated how small the pitcher was, I feel like the ninja held 30% more but that’s kinda on me. The lid doesn’t sit very nicely in the pitcher either, it’s a super tight fit. Otherwise I’d give it 5 starsEdit 6 months in: pretty sure it’s going to die soon, and it doesn’t work well at all any more. I constantly have to push everything down to the bottom and run it several times to just to get somewhat of an even blend. I will not be purchasing again.
