Great product! Excellent suction power on either of the two settings.. the super power suction is insanely powerful. Long lasting battery. Would be great if this came with a car charger in addition to the regular AC plug. Bought this for my car but I'm using it a lot at home and it picks up dust great. A+++UPDATE: This is THE best dustbuster I have ever had (and I've had a lot!) I'm talking about lasting battery power, suction strength, and size and ease of cleaning the dust collecting compartment. I've been using it for a while now, originally got it for my car but it's so helpful around the apartment I actually use it more at home than in the car. I did two small clean up jobs last week and didn't plug in the charger after. Then today I used it on the floors in almost a half my apartment, and the dressers and tables, and the battery and suction power were strong and dependable. I went to my computer thinking, "this thing really deserves a great review" and I signed into Amazon and when I called up this order to write a review, I see I already had done one. It's well deserved. When I say "don't hesitate" I really mean it. This isn't for wet/spills it's a dry vac.FEATURE REQUEST: A soft brush attachment for dusting shelves and dressers would be helpful. Also the rectangular shape of the mouth is great but an attachment for a few inches more of extension with a small round opening for dusting small items would be amazing.

In Spring and Summer, at night I usually leave the kitchen door open to get cool air into the house, which then maps to not needing to run the air-conditioner during day and saves money on electricity ($100 or $200 a month savings). I have screen doors, but there are gaps, and house or horse flies get into the kitchen, so I spray them with flying insect spray. The result is no flies, but then there are a lot of dead flies on the kitchen countertop. I got this Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum specifically to deal with dead flies, but also to use to clean the carpets in my car for small stuff (leaves, dirt, and so forth).The unit arrived a few minutes ago, and I used it to get the dead flies. It's perfect, and I am very happy. You might think, "Why not just sweep them with a brush?", but it's not so easy. The kitchen countertop has various items scattered around--covered so flies don't get on it--so sweeping into a scoop with a brush will not work. Done that way I would need to remove everything on the kitchen countertop, which is not practical or easy to do. With the Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum, I extend the nozzle, and it's easy to get between items on the kitchen countertop.I'm in a rural area, so there is no practical way to avoid flies, including horse flies which are bigger than house flies.The Black & Decker 12V mini-vacuum provides the desired solution and is easy to use, to clean, and to recharge. It's an excellent product!

I purchased this to clean up the cat litter around the litter box in my kitty’s pen & it works great. The extendable crevice tool is very handy at reaching the far corners of the pen & the suction is great. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the litter pieces tend to get caught in the permanent filter, making it difficult to clean. I must use a brush & scour hard to remove them & unclog the holes. A small price to pay, however, for the efficiency in keeping things clean.

My sister got this vacuum as a gift. She uses this vacuum for cleaning the furniture and messes from her grandkids. I purchased one for my daughter and she loves it as well. It’s perfect for cleaning out the car and is powerful for everyday uses. The price was great and it charges fast.

I bought this vacuum in August and so far it is great! It has great suction and is perfect for small jobs.I would say battery life is around an hour.It cleans easily and I love that you can wash the filter.This product is definitely priced fairly!!

I love this hand vac. I got this to replace one from a different manufacturer that came high rated and worked well but was almost impossible to put together after emptying. This is a powerful tool and I like how it stands when it’s charging cause vertical storage takes up less room. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

The Cons:You must charge it five hours to be able to use it between 10 and 15 minutes, depending on the power level used. I feel more confident with the pick-up on high power, so it does not retain a charge for long.The way the power switch is designed, some of the battery's charge is drained as it must temporarily be turned on high speed before it can be turned off.The charging cable is lightweight.The Pros:The dust bin opens easily.The crevice tool is useful.It is lightweight.There is a battery charge indicator light.It can be used on a variety of surfaces.

Pros: the vac is lightweight which is good for those with weak arm strength; it has good suction and works well vacuuming kitty litter, even on low pile carpet; it has indicator lights for charging; the lights also indicate when the battery is getting low; emptying the canister is simple; the nozzle extends a few inches which is helpful; it can be left plugged into the charger without over charging. Also, it has 2 suction settings. I haven't used the higher suction because it works well on the regular suction when you turn it on. Also, it's not very loud.Cons: when fully discharged, it takes quite a while to completely charge. I have a cat that likes to chew on charging cables and don't have a secure area to keep it charged in. It would be handy if there was an area on the vac to hold the charger when it's not being charged.I'm glad I bought this hand vac. I like it enough that I also bought one for my sister and niece.

I love this dustbuster vac. I struggled for years with one that had a different design that was so difficult to empty the cannister and reattach it. This one couldn't be easier-press one button to open and dump. The dual filters inside are also very easy to remove, clean, and reinsert when necessary. It's got great suction and is super easy to charge-just plug it in. There are no bases for it to sit in and no battery to remove and reinstall to charge. It's also not too heavy.

Hi. Have just received this and there is a loose piece of triangular clear plastic with a black flap. Should this be fitted into the dust box? Anyone had the same issue and is it important.

I used it to clean sofa, recliner and carpet in my car. The suction power is good but duration of use doesn't last for a long time.
