As far as I can tell, these are excellent quality, especially for the price. Arrived quickly, well packaged. The included measuring tape was a nice plus. The material is heavy duty but not extra-weighty so as to pull it down. Easy to install. I haven't had it up longer enough to know if the velcro will become "unsticky" as some have reported, but if it does, I'll apply a small bit of superglue or a small finishing nail. I'm happy with this purchase. Will order more in the summer if needed to keep out the South Carolina heat.

It worked great for me to get through a summer of overnight shifts- the only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the Velcro pieces don’t work very well - they’re too sticky at first and then after the sun has hit them for a while they lose all stickiness

Bought for covering a big window that gets a lot of evening sun which makes it very hot inside. This did help keep it cooler and darker inside. HOWEVER, when it would get all that extra heat in the evenings, the adhesive to keep it hanging began melting and it started to fall off of the window in some spots. I took it down due to moving and not needing it anymore and it left a ton of adhesive stuck to the window as well as being very hard to pull off the pieces that were stuck.

Easy to install strong blackout curtains and strong sticky. Background tape definitely if you a person that don’t like light to come in your bedroom this is the best I ever bought and you can take them off when you want light and put them back on when you don’t want light recommend these things work

We bought these for the days in the summer when it wouldn't get dark until almost 9 pm. Our 2 year old some has the curiosity like any kid at that age, and the blinds letting as much light is as they did wasnt a help.These changed a lot of that. We only need to order one roll and it came with everything we needed.I found it easier to use a tape measure and a marker to make you cut lines and go from there. I made a could of mistakes while measuring and cutting and there was still plenty to get the job done.We love the ease of taking them off of the window and putting them back on when we are ready to the room to get dark. These do not take away the function of of opening our windows either. We are actually able to open out windows while keep these covers on, but we could easily take them off if we needed to.You can get some light to spill in from the sides. But it can be fixed by added more of the velcro strips or circles they give you. And as an added bonus, this helped to keep a lot of heat out of the room during the hot summer we had this year with the silver reflective backing.
