It is kind of thin. If it was thicker, then I am sure it would not have obtain the dent and scratches it came with.

this is really nice to have on hand and is super versitile for cooking, especially on the blackstone, but my one qualm is that you have to assemble it & it comes just thrown in a box with the sticker directly on the product.. and it took FOREVER to get that stubborn sticker off.super useful now though and i recommend this or something similar to everyone that cooks

Came with a sticker on it that was very hard to get off, and still has some residue we can’t scrub off. The material feels really lightweight - not super high quality. Assembly was easy (screwing the handle on) and it does a decent job

The dome is a standard size and will fit a standard dinner plate perfectly for keeping food hot/warm. Its a good looking accessory but does scratch and dent a little.I took one star off due to how hard it was to remove a sticker. I didn't want to scratch it up by using an abrasive metal tool to scrape off the sticker so I tried using my finger nail and eventually tried a plastic spoon. Only the paper portion of the sticker came off leaving the sticker's adhesive still intact. I tried soaking the adhesive in isopropyl alcohol and then vinegar but the adhesive wouldn't budge. The only thing that worked was WD-40. I normally wash a new cooking item before first use but having used several chemicals to remove the sticker's adhesive I had to give it a deeper cleaning.The dome comes with a handle and two nuts/screws you have to put on and no instructions. The instructions weren't really needed if you just look at the product picture to see how the nut/screws are situated.I specifically wanted the dome to make sauteed or caramelized onions with butter on my Blackstone griddle as well as spread the "taste" over the grill by moving the dome back and forth over the grill and it worked beautifully.
