Cheap but very good quality. I love the cardboard fronts as it opens creativity for designing, and it’s worth your buck because of the amount of books it comes with.

My kids love using these little hardcover spiral-bound books to write stories in, to draw comics, as a small sketchbook... They especially like to write and illustrate their own "books," even creating cute covers on a separate sheet of paper and gluing them on. They've each got a stash of these notebooks and when they're running low demand more. Paper thickness and quality is really nice, and it's a good number of pages for a kid's use without a bunch going to waste.

Great sketch books for kids. I used these for an art camp I hosted and the kids got to decorate the front and color/draw in them.

The girls designed their own journals and covered with stickers, very sturdy, decent paper weight. Nice and compact.
