Relatively sturdy, easy to set up. It looks nice in my living room and keeps the extra bla jets off the couch and floor.

Lots of splinters. Gaps in the finish I corrected using funiture repair pen. Had to anchor the top with nails hammered in the walls to keep the ladder from shifting. Easy to assemble and fairly sturdy which is why I gave it a 3 rating.

I spent more time getting all the splinters out of my hand than I did building it. Horrible quality. Returning! Also falls easily with blankets on it.

I’m really not a big fan of this product. More assembly was required than I would have expected, and the wood material feels cheap and splinters pretty easily. They give you a screwdriver to put it together, but I had to break out my drill as the predrilled holes weren’t of the best quality.Once assembled, the ladder cannot collapse at all. If you want to take it down, you’d have to take it completely apart. Also, the black rubber pieces that you put on the top of the ladder I believe are meant to protect the wall from scratching, but it leaves black smudges all over mine. So they didn’t really help much in my opinion.Is it pretty to look at from afar? Yes.Does it stay against the wall and hold blankets like it’s supposed to? Yes.Would i recommend this product to others? Probably not. I think you can find a better version of this elsewhere.
