When it got to attaching the slats, it all went down hill. The screws barely fit and the wood split. Very disappointing.

The rack pieces are beautiful. They have a nice finish to them. The hardware that comes with the set is extremely cheap. So cheap that a screw literally broke off inside one of the boards while trying to screw it in. They also strip out very easily. Of course they are screws that take a special tool, because why would we use standard hardware to allow use of an electric screwdriver to make the job easier. Some of the holes weren't prefilled real well either. If I hadn't spent the time putting it together, I probably would send it back. I'm just going to have my husband put his hand man skills to use to get the broken screw out and replace it.
