We used this grill successfully 2 times. The third time we tried to use it, my husband/son pre-heated the grill and put chicken on. 5 minutes later, when they tried to turn the knobs, they burned their hands. When they looked further, they noticed that the chicken had not cooked and the inside of the knobs had melted. The place that sold us the grill, Barbeque Island, told us that the manufacturer couldn't guarantee that the knobs wouldn't melt if there was any wind while cooking. The grill is installed up against a wall in an enclosure on our patio. It is not exposed to any elements. BBQ Island will replace the knobs but we have to pay for labor.So beware. If you live any place where there is any wind, do not under any circumstance buy this product. Not only won't it work, but you might get severly burned.
