Saw this product review on YouTube the other day and decided to give it a try. So happy I did. The rear brakes on an Aventon Aventure 2 e-bike loss pressure the other day so I needed to bleed the brakes. The item was perfect and up to the job. Within 15 minutes the entire process was done including cleanup the brake system is working great. Highly recommend this kit to anyone with an e-bike because it made bleeding the brake system a breeze and being a universal set, it is sure to fit the majority of e-bike brands out there. The only thing that was not supplied was an Allen wrench. Finally, got an excellent price on the kit, since Amazon had it on sale for 30% off.

I saw this kit used on a YouTube video applied to the same type of Zoom brakes as I have on my Aventon Level E-bike.My front brake had gotten "sponge-y" and provided hardly any stopping power at all. And even though I have the bike repair expertise of a beagle, I figured I'd try it before shelling out big bucks at my bike shop.To my surprise, it worked (or perhaps I should say, I succeeded). Some comments:1) The kit comes with a LOT of stuff; much of which you ultimately won't need. But then this kit is meant to be a "universal" design so it's mean to cover all the possible options.2) I only bled my front brake and only from the pull-brake handle. I did not do a "full brake bleed" which looked a lot more complicated. That's not to say this kit won't work for that, only that I did not attempt it.3) There's not really any useable instructions included with the kit. I relied exclusively on the video I downloaded to figure out what the heck to do.4) I bought an extra bottle of brake fluid. I didn't need to. There's plenty with the kit.5) The hardest part of the process is "leveling" your bike. A couple of other videos I watched emphasized doing this, and it was the most challenging chapter of the entire activity. So, if you're like me, and don't have a "bike repair garage" (I basically have an air pump the Allen wrenches supplied with my bike, and that's it), give yourself plenty of room, and plenty of "things" to hold your bike level--both horizontally and vertically.

Okay, it is probably not the fault of the kit. Instead, the new TekTro brake assembly (HD-M285) would not allow any brake fluid to travense the hose. Very odd. I applied quite a lot of pressure on the syrines to no avail. I tried to reverse and draw in fluid but likewise nothing. Time for a different brake assembly!

My Aventon Aventure’s brakes were literally so out of hydraulic fluid that I could’ve had an accident. My knowledge of bikes are pretty much slim to none so I had no clue on what to do. So I did a quick YouTube video and found this kit recommended, and saved 200 bucks! Instead of going to a shop, I did it myself and it was completed in less than 5 minutes. Such an easy fix for so expensive at any bike shops. Recommended 100%!

It worked. Now why 3 start and recommend other on amazon.Was able to use fill cup up top, good.To pump from bottom, needed fitting which was screwed in and fit poorly.only 1 bottle whereas other on amazon has 3 bottles of fluid.other has more fittings for your brakes.works, but if I knew then what I know now, I would buy one with more fittings, or consider buying kit providing brass metal adapter fittings.

This is my second "bargain" brake bleed kit for maintaining my Tektro GeminiSL MTB brakes. The first kit (reviewed elsewhere) came with lots of adapters, none of which fit my lever bleed port properly. This kit has excellent adapters and a much more robust oil reservoir attachment. I recommend this kit highly - especially for Tektro hydraulic brakes.(I only gave it 4 stars for durability because, like most of these aftermarket kits, the adapters are all plastic. If properly cared for, they should be fine for many bleeds.)

Il kit è tutto in plastica, compresi gli adattatori, ma per un utilizzo casalingo, quindi molto saltuario (non è che i freni si debbano spurgare cosà di frequente), è piú che sufficiente. Bisogna informarsi un po' sul procedimento prima di farlo, a posteriori è piuttosto semplice ma ci sono diversi passaggi e accortezze per cui la prima volta è impegnativo. Io ho il cavalletto di manutenzione, che aiuta parecchio a tenere la bici in posizione, soprattutto per spurgare il freno posteriore. Punto a favore: include sia le due siringhe sia il bicchierino, io ho usato quest'ultimo su dei freni rockrider/tektro e sono riuscito a fare il lavoro molto bene (la corsa era molto lunga causa bolla d'aria, ora è perfetta). Quindi lo consiglio per il fai da te.

This kit has both syringes and a bleed cup. This allows you to bleed hydraulic blades fully using 2 syringes but also allows you to 'burp' brakes using the bleed cup. This kit has adapters of most sizes to accommodate most brake systems. This fitted my Tektro hd-m275 brakes perfect 👌ðŸ»
