This is the latest of 6 blender bottles I purchased under this brand - with previous products fulfilling various needs for their use (e.g. size/capacity, need for a carrying handle, other innovative uses such as cooking, etc.)The leak-proof feature and "compressible" design of the blender ball in their beverage shaker bottles have made this a go-to brand for me. Among the evolving product features through the years, the round bottom feature on this particular product has been a huge step forward from the earlier versions. Without affecting its volume capacity, the round bottom feature makes it easy to clean and prevents any hard to dissolve "clumping regions" whenever powders need to be dissolved in the contained beverage.I purchased and have used this mainly for travel as an attachable beverage bottle, thanks to its handle and leak proof design. This particular unit I got occasionally leaks depending on how the cap is screwed on, but since I'm currently on overseas travel (unable to replace/return) and had never had this problem with their earlier beverage bottles, I'm willing to believe that this is just an isolated imperfection with this unit.

I bought this for my sister as she needed one for mixing greens. The shaker works just fine, hiwever, the lid does not snap shut so she has to hold it closed. Otherwise she liked it.

I mostly use it for homemade salad dressings, esp. the thicker ones that need shaking before each use. The wire ball that comes with the bottle is GREAT at getting everything mixed around in the container when shaken. It is VERY easy to clean too. The pour spout closes tightly and opens easily with just a pull but there is NO leaking at all. It pours NEATLY too. Fits nicely in the fridge which never seems to have enough room in it.

I've been using this since for only about 4 days, but it has proven itself to be the very best non-foaming blender available. I have not had any leaks, or messes, at all, when using this BlenderBottle shaker. I just open (unscrew the top), pour 10-12 ounces of cold water, put a scoop of my protein powder, close it (screw the top on tight), and shake it up. 10 seconds later, my drink is ready. I pop off the drinking spout, and drink my protein shake. I used to have to use a mini blender to make my protein shake, and that would take quite a bit of time, and electric power, and a lot of cleaning. It produced a LOT of foam, too, and I did not like that. I love that the little metal ball works so well to blend the drink quickly, without filling it with air. Brilliant idea! Easy to clean, too. Just rinse everything with water.
