This is a pretty good assortment of colorful, strong polyester thread that should work well for a wide variety of sewing projects. I like polyester because it is stronger than cotton and cotton blend thread of the same diameter.My sewing projects are mostly for outdoor stuff like tent flys, tarps, straps, and stuff sacks. Polyester is my usual go-to. I often use heavier thread than the garment-weight thread in this set, but for lighter weight fabrics, this stuff is perfect.Lots of great colors are included, with several shades of each of the primary and secondary colors. I wish that the spools were marked to identify that this is indeed polyester thread, so that years from now I will know. There are no markings whatsoever on the spools.The kit comes with a package of needles for hand sewing and a few simple tools - tape measure, thread scissors, and needle threaders. Not top quality but serviceable.There is a nice snap top case of 36 bobbins pre-wound with thread to match the larger 500-yard spools. The bobbins don’t fit my vintage Pfaff 130, unfortunately. Not surprising, actually. I imagine that they will fit more modern machines.

Cheap needles. Breaks easily, but I love the array of thread colors and pre-threaded spools to match cutting down prep time.. Doubles as back-up spools to use forever!
