So, this has been a good device for our pups to wear after his seizures when he gets confused and temporary retinopathy. It's kept hidden little snout from smacking into things. It's Bern serving its purpose.But it fits more snug than I figured it would. I got the right size for the measurements, but a size up might have been better. We have to use one snap to max out the opening, and it's still snug. Also, one of tge buttons that helps hold the rod in place ripped right off. It still work alright, but the materials could be a little better. Metal snaps would have probably helped.Our pup still needs to get used to it if we want to use it aside from his seizure episodes, because his partial blindness mistakes the rod as an obstacle and when he can't get around it he just stands there like he's blocked. But since it's helping post seizure, we'll be using it at least for that.

Well I now have a smaller and larger one of these for my now blind doggy. It's pretty rough, and this is a tool to help with them bumping their noses and eyes while wandering.The apparatus is designed nicely and I like the cushiony harness over a regular harness. This is helpful in the house to avoid all the bumps. Outdoors it can work too if trees or branches are an issue.My dog walks outdoors without it as I control him with the leash, and in the house it is helpful with corners and furniture. We have some issues with small spaces becoming more difficult but this is an effective tool to use in the right circumstances.
