These jazz shoes are perfect for doing musical theater or dance. They fit very tight because they are supposed to. Once you get them on, they’re very comfortable. Super lightweight and sturdy 1 o’clock.

These have been my daughter’s go to jazz shoes for several years. She has a narrow foot and ankle, so other brands are always too gappy and wide around the ankle or slip off her heel. We order a half size up from her street shoe (and from last year’s pair) and they are consistently her favorites. She only wears Bloch shoes because of their fit and how well made they are.

Even though this shoe was not the right fit for me, I gave it four stars because the quality of the shoe was excellent, very well made with soft leather, hugging arch underneath, and good soles for turning, as well as a nice inner lining. That said, I wear a size 7 to 7.5 street shoe size and I ordered these in a size 8. So many reviewers said they run small, and the recommended sizing said go with street shoe size to 1/2 size up. I received them in the mail and tried them on and they were way too long in the toe area, though fit nicely as far as width on my wide feet (I have high arches and wide feet at metatarsal that sharply taper/narrow to the heel). There was so much extra material in the toe that the soles did not line up correctly and if I had tried to dance in these I would have tripped all over the place. I would have exchanged these for a size 7 but the other issue I had was the heel came up too high on the back of my foot for comfort. It dug into the back of my leg. So even with the correct sizing I suspect this would be an issue as it is with many types of shoes for me. So reluctantly I returned them (which thankfully was a breeze as I had never returned anything before by mail). I am not giving up though and ordered the Bloch Pulse style jazz shoe in a smaller size but wide option. The heel looks different on that shoe and I am hoping it will be a better fit. Why oh why isn't there a dance store in my neck of the woods, with several ballet and dance companies up here! Ugh. Such a guessing game with shoe sizing.

I got these for my daughter to wear for her Color Guard Competitions. They fit well, and she has wide feet. Most sandals and formal shoes are too narrow, but these were able to conform to her feet.To be clear-they aren’t super wide, but they are flexible enough for wider feet.

Fit according to the chart. My daughter is a size 7 1/2 street shoe and we ordered an 8. Perfect. There is some stretch that hug the foot well.

I liked the stretchiness of the shoe and the heel, howeverI have a very high arch so there was not enough support. My main issue is that they were too narrow.

Der Schuh tanzt sich klasse. Habe Gr 38 und 38,5 ist perfekt. Sitzt und drückt nicht vorn an den Zehen. Sohle greift auch gut.

I love everything about these jazz shoes. I usually wear size 6, ordered 6.5 and had to return them. I ended up with size 7, and they are perfect.
