I wear a women's 9 wide width E size shoe, and the women's Bloch tap shoe was too narrow. So I bought the men's shoe in a size 8 and it's a perfect fit. I have narrow heels compared to the wide front of my foot, so I was worried the heels of these shoes might slip off, but they don't. They're very comfortable and make a fantastic sound. The tap dance teacher noticed it the first class, that I was making a better, more definitive sound than with my first set of cheaper tap shoes. They're also just beautiful to look at and I'm proud to be wearing them in class. I saw other, similar quality shoes selling for $350 or more.

This is a great shoe. It fits like a glove. I ordered my regular street shoe size.Nice soft leather, strong base and a very good sound.My capezios are in the closet.

These tap shoes are fantastic and well worth the money. I absolutely LOVE them. They’re a fair bit heavier than most taps because they have very large taps, thicker wood base, and a more robust toe box. As a result, they take a bit of getting used to and a couple days to break in, but once you adjust to them, they produce a crystal clear, deeper sound when dancing that is really impressive.They also come with separate rubber grips, which you’ll want to take to a cobbler if you want them installed properly without damaging the shoes.

These are super high quality professional tap shoes. There’s almost no difference between the men’s & the women’s in this style - just fyi. Buy them based on your foot measurement & you should be good. These are leather & though they’re pretty stiff when you first get them, they’re very comfortable after being broken in & will last for years. JSams are heavier than beginniner shoes & produce an amazing sound. They even have really great resale value in case your tapper out grows them

I wear a women's 8.5/9 street shoe with a slightly wide foot and had the ladies Jason Samuel's in a size 9.5. The men's size 7 fit me great! These taps make a real difference compared to more affordable pairs. The sound definitely makes them worth the expense (especially if you catch your size on sale like I did)! I bought my first pair in 2021 and danced in them probably 6 hours a week at minimum and they lasted me until I bought this pair, almost 4 years! Worth the money and a joy to tap in 😃

The shoes came repackaged because "the original box was damaged in transit." It is evident from breaks across the toe that one shoe had been previously worn. No biggie; the taps were still pristine, so they probably tried it on then returned them. But there wasn't a lace included for the second shoe, so it got lost somewhere between the person who returned the shoes and repackaging.

I wanted to write this review to possibly help other ladies who are looking at the men’s version of this shoe, as women’s availability in white is sometimes limited.I currently wear the JSams in black in a Women’s 9.5 (street shoe size 8.5 with a slightly wide toe box but narrow heel). They fit great and I LOVE them! But I’ve had a hard time finding the 9.5 in the white color and wanted them for an upcoming show, so I decided to try the Men’s. According to the Bloch size chart, a 9.5 in Women’s converts to a 7.5 in Men’s. There are reviews, however, that sounded like I might need to size down a bit more. So I ordered the 7.5 and the 7.0 in Men’s to see which was a better fit (thank you Prime for free returns!).Out of the box, the Men’s 7.5 appeared much bigger than the 9.5 Women’s. The Men’s 7 was closer in length to the 9.5 Women’s. The ankle opening in both sizes is bigger in the Men’s than the Women’s, and the upper of the shoe is also a bit taller overall.I’ve provided some photos to help illustrate the differences. The first photo shows the Men’s 7.5, my current 9.5 Women’s, and the Men’s 7 (left to right). The second photo shows the slightly taller upper on the Men’s. The third photo is the Men’s 7 next to the Women’s 9.5, and the fourth photo is the Men’s 7.5 next to the Women’s 9.5Although the toe box area of the Men’s 7 was noticeably smaller than in the 7.5, I had less heel slippage in the 7 versus the 7.5 (note that I do have a narrow heel). So I decided to keep the size 7.Hope this review helps, and happy tapping!

Of course these shoes are good, recommended by all Pro dancers, BUT, these are so expensive and the company can't even give out a Tote bag wit it? That's really cheap of the company.Shoe quality is good. Black leather on the top is soft and feels good. Metal taps are smooth and nice too. Sole is thick and after using this shoes for the last 3 weeks, it seems like I have broken into it, and it is feeling more comfortable. But the Toe side metal tap doesn't have the compensating leather layer, and the company expects us customers to paste the rubbery layer that they gives with the shoe. First of all, why these layering patch is not made of leather? Do they expect us to first scratch off the expensive leather sole and then buy extra leather shoe glue and paste it? If we go wrong, then we spoil the sole of this expensive shoe. Really, Bloch? How cheap one company can get? Your shoes are standard sizes, why aren't you pasting those layering-level patches and selling them? Why are you expecting customers to do it?

Venditore eccellente.Premessa il mio numero è 39 con misura piede 24cm. Confidando nelle tabelle Bloch avevo acquistato un paio di JSS da donna n. 9 e 1/2 che mi andavano strette e di cui ho fatto reso. In sostituzione avevo ordinato il numero 6 e1/2 da uomo spedando che quello mi andasse bene. Il venditore quando ha visto il doppio ordine mi ha immediatamente chiamato, chiedendomi la misura esatta del mio piede e, sulla base di quello, consigliandomi esattamente la misura esatta per me. È arrivato un 7 da uomo che calza perfettamente. Che dire: Grazie infinite della professionalità e della cortesia. Un consiglio. Se avete dubbi sulla calzabilità o sul numero della scarpa, CONTATTATE prima il venditore.

Les chaussures sont superbes et surtout avec les talons en bois, le son n'est plus du tout le même !Elles sont fournies avec les coussins anti-dérapants pour ceux qui souhaitent les mettre.Je mets 4 étoiles car Amazon n'a pas respecté les tailles Bloch. (Je chausse du 42.5 et j'ai du commander 3 paires). Et que vu le tarif, bloch pourrait faire un effort sur la boîte ou bien fournir un petit sac. C'est quand même une paire en série limité, c'est dommage.Pour info : Pour la taille Homme.LE 43 AMAZON correspond à la taille 10 BLOCH HOMME TAP SHOES = 44Le 42.5 AMAZON = 9.5 BLOCH = 43.5LE 41.5 AMAZON = 8.5 BLOCH = 42.5Sinon comme d'hab, rien à redire du service amazon.
