These are seriously the best dance socks. It does take a class or two to "break in" because they are pretty grippy at first. But they have the perfect amount of traction to feel safe with leaps yet there is a lot of space under the toes and ball of your foot for turns. The socks themselves have bit of compression and feel supportive. I also really like the little bit of extra cushion at the toes and heel. They honestly work and feel just like a dance shoe. They do not last a super long time depending on how much you are dancing in them as the traction does start to wear down, but you should be able to get a good year out of them. The socks themselves hold up really well. But even if these only lasted a month and I would still continue to re-purchase! Highly recommend for any dancer at any level. I like these so much better than the other brands out there.

I use these for ballet and want to buy 10 more for daily use! Basically, the quality, comfort, and value for money are top-notch. It is NOT slippery, but does allow for turns. For reference, I am a shoe size women’s 7.5 and I bought a medium, and it’s a perfect fit.

I was very excited to get these so I could practice salsa and ballroom at home without shoes. I wanted to love them but I don’t think the dimensions are correct for larger feet. I wear size 10.5-11, which translated to a large sock on the size chart, and the sticky part of the sock falls on the balls of my feet. This makes turning more difficult and slows me down, which is the opposite of what I was hoping to accomplish. The rest of the sock fits fine and is comfortable but please make the turn pad bigger!

My daughter is a dancer and so loves theses. They help her with gripping the dance floor. She said they don't bunch up, they are comfortable, for true to size, color is not fading, the quality is as expected, functioned as expected he cost was reasonable.

These are my favorite socks to dance in!! The grip is just the right amount, I have noticed improvement in my turns. I like that they are thick and compressing.

A good garment for a ballet class: the silicone strings on the sole hold the grip well and help feet stay in the right place. At the same time, when doing brushes etc the foot moves freely (just need to get a little used to how to do the movement correctly). I like how the socks "hug" the foot and the ankle – it's both comfortable and makes my feet look great and slim! The quality of material is also good – it's breathable but at the same time keeps my always freezing feet warm.

A friend said her client had ballet socks she admired. All I could find in my searching were the Blochsox. Not what she'd described.I tried the Blochsox, loved them and gave her a pair...she was very dubious. She danced contemporary professionally. She's on her feet most days teaching Gyro. She finds her shins don't hurt at the end of her day when she's in the Blochsox and loves the ankle support.Gave another pair to a friend who takes ballet, but doesn't like ballet slippers. She was dubious. She loves them. Said her control and turns are greatly improved.The support is excellent. They have grip and slide. I got a second pair!
