Jacob Bloch, a shoe maker by trade, emigrated to Australia in 1930 during the height of The Great Depression.
Jacob's love of music and dancing took him to the local ballet schools and at one of these schools he noticed a young dancer struggling to stay en pointe. Jacob promised he would make her a better pair of pointe shoes to dance in, and so he did.
Jacob’s reputation for making high-quality dance footwear spread rapidly.
Jacob’s shoes became so well-known and sought after, that it sparked the creation of a full range of dance footwear and dance fashion products. The brand grew rapidly and over time became the BLOCH we know and love.

These are great quality but they run small! All dance shoes do so buy accordingly and ALWAYS order with Prime so you can afford to swap sizes if need be.Great shoes at a great price!

I wear more of a 9 1/2 shoe, but I go with the L for these turners instead of the XL. I like these to be a bit snug, because it's really annoying if they come flying off when you dance (been there done that). I like this brand and this style the best because I think they look most nude and natural on stage.

They are great but they run a little small so if you are on the border of two sizes go up a size.

I read the reviews before I bought it for my daughter and all the reviews said to order a size bigger so I did! MAKE SURE TO ORDER BIG!!! And the size chart is different on here than in person! This chart is correct. She loves them, they are great quality and great for beginners and advanced! Would recommend 100%

Great dance shoe. I have wide feet and they are the best I’ve found for these type of dance shoe for wide feet. They don’t fall off. Secure elastic and do their job well.

The dance shoes were amazing! I ordered a large for my size 8.5 foot and they fit perfectly. They do get dirty easily but were worth the price. Definitely recommend!!!

Le produit est de bonne qualité. Je danse beaucoup avec et il n'est pas encore usé. Par contre, légèrement trop petit pour moi (je peux l'utiliser quand même), mais c'est peut-être moi qui a commandé la mauvaise grandeur (difficile d'évaluer à distance).
