Plugged right in with a solid push, I expect it to stay put. I like the insulating sleeve, as my block heater sits fairly close to exhaust and right over oil filter/cooler adapter. Cord and plug are good quality. Would buy again, don't expect that I'll need to.

Great replacement block heater wire that is made of thick16 gauge wire and includesa a heat sleeve. 6.6 Duramax Diesel straight end works well. Very happy for this purchase and would recommend this wire

Didn’t last long. End that plugs into block heater is made of wrong rubber and came apart

Just installed on a 2013 duramax. Ground prong broke off the factory plug. Don't want to talk badly because it's only been a couple days. It's loose fitting when plugged into the block. Would probably fall out with just normal vibration. I crimped the female ends with needle nose and made a slightly tighter fit. Zip tied the cord upward to try and keep pressure on it. Still not confident in it. Plug cover doesn't fit well either and falls off so I plan for corrosion on that end. Get what you pay for I guess. Time will tell if it holds up or not. Great shipping as always.
