The dash kit is designed specifically for your vehicle, it lines up with factory mounting to install and uninstall easily. There are no modifications necessary. The Pocket kit mounts where the factory radio is removed from to create storage. Install your aftermarket radio without cutting your factory dash wires with this color coded aftermarket wire harness that plugs into the back of your aftermarket radio then can be wired into the dash by matching up like colored wires. The antenna adapter is used to adapt the factory antenna end to the standard Motorola male end need to plug in to your new aftermarket radio. This plug may not work if you have installed an aftermarket antenna, as most of those do not require adaptation. There are no modifications necessary. Overall a good quality product that fits well with small modifications. As other reviews mention, you'll need to drill holes for the vents as they aren't punched through all the way on one side. I used a dremel tool for this and it was very simple. I ordered the blue color, but it didn't match the original blue dash (see photo). Not a big deal, as I can paint to match if I desire. I can't speak for the other dash colors though.For the price, this kit is worth it to have a nice clean look in your old Chevy or GM.

Couldn't believe you get everything you need in one kit. All at a very affordable price. Everything fits perfectly and is easy to install. I like how they include a cubby hole for where the factory radio went. Definitely fits a pack of cigs. Some phones even though it may hang over a bit. It has a lip so you're change won't fall out. I like how you can get the dash kit in the color that almost matches your interior. It was the blue one for me. It fit perfectly in place were the old tape deck used to be. You must keep your old vents to put in this kit. The wireing harness worked great with my pioneer head unit.

The color was the same as my vehicles interior making it look like it was factory installed. Matched up really well & worked out nicely for my aftermarket head unit.

Perfect fit for old truck and new radio! The wire colors on the adapter were a perfect match for the aftermarket radio purchased on Amazon. Just match up the colors and you're good! The "red" wire on the adapter looked a bit "orange" to me. Make sure you connect it to the red wire on the radio and not the orange one. Regarding the movable air vents: PUT THE WIRE SPRING CLIPS IN FIRST BEFORE INSERTING THE VENTS. Insert the spindle of the vent *under the installed clip* and then push the other end of the vent down until the other spindle simply "snaps" into the hole at the opposite end. (I saw this recommendation on a YouTube video after a long struggle with those clips.) The radio had one extra wire labeled "Mem" that didn't have a matching wire on the adapter. I simply didn't connect it, covering the end with electrical tape. This didn't seem to affect the radio functionality at all. I suspect it has something to do with maintaining radio settings if the truck battery is removed. I highly recommend this product!
