I tried different thermos flask for kids lunch pack. Some are very big and other one was small and not keeping food warm.This one is good in size for middle school kids. It’s mouth is not narrow it is perfectly wide that kids can easily eat there food. If you put food right after cooking it remain hot till next 6 hours . I checked it personally . I put boiled water in it in morning and check after 3 hours so it was hot till next 6 hours and later till night it was Luke warm. It came up with spoon that is ok not that functional for my kid. Spoon is not a issue for me. I was looking for right size thermos so my search end up here.I never put soup in it so don’t know about leakage but for pasta macaroni in that case there in no leakage.Easy to open my kid never complained about that.I prefer to do hand wash never put in dishwasher one of my earlier flask damaged after putting in dishwasher.

I did a little experiment with this and a thermos food jar about the same size and rated for keeping food warm for 12 hours also. I put boiling water in both water for about 10 minutes then added oatmeal that was 194° at 930pm, the next morning at 630am I checked the temp of both and this one was at 99° and thermos was 104° so still pretty good for being 9 hours. It wasn't hot but it was a little warm. I dont think either of them would keep something hot for 12 hours. That's a stretch.

This is a great little/big thermos for kids or adults that bring lunch from home. We add hot water to warm it up, then switch that out with whatever food we are serving and when lunch rolls around, the food is still hot for our kids!

I am very happy with that purchase. The container has a nice white ceramic coating inside, which seems to be quite durable. I wish the lid was coated in ceramic as well, to provide full protection from stainless steel.Outside looks beautiful, very nice colours and great quality.

I love this container as it makes it easy to pack warm food for my daughter and its for her to open . I love how the spoon slips into the band around the container which makes it easy for her to find.
