I tested it in my lab to look at protein gel stains, and it worked really well.The size of the tool is very compact, which makes it easy to use and store. I like that this lets you see without needing to wear any cheesy goggles. It uses blue light, so there is no worry about damage to samples. The ability to take pictures with your phone using the foldable piece/darkroom that’s included is really cool. It’s not large, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It is easy to plug in and use, and even comes with an extra tool for cutting. It is a bit on the expensive side though.
