If you want to buy one for your 3/4 chevy the dealer doesnt list this size, I didnt want ti use the sleave that came with the truck

Upgraded my truck from a 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton and needed a new shank for the Blue Ox Sway Pro hitch. It works as expected with an added benefit - I can open my tailgate! Because of the length of the Shank from the receiver being longer than a standard 2" shank, it allows my tailgate to drop when hooked up which I couldn't do previously. If you have a 3/4 ton and need the fill size 2.5" Shank for a class V hitch, definitely get this shank instead of using a 2" shank with an adapter. Well worth the difference.

I purchased this to avoid using a 2" shank with an adapter on my truck with a 2 1/2 inch hitch. This is a nice heavy duty piece of metal and it does the job as described. My blue Ox Track Pro weight distribution attachments bolted on just fine. I recently used it to pull my travel trailer for a 740 mile trip and had no issues. I don't leave my hitch attached to the truck and using an adapter was a pain with aligning the hitch and adapter holes every time I put the hitch back on. I am glad I spent the money to get a proper 2 1/2 inch shank for a 2 1/2 inch hitch.
