How is it used for wall painting?
Wait!
Wait until the paint is dry to the touch before removing the tape. Check the manufacturer's recommended drying times on the paint can.
Score!
Use a putty knife or razor blade to score along the edge of the tape. This prevents paint from being pulled up with the tape and prevents cracking along the paint line.
Tape!
Taking your time, lift up the painter's tape and peel it back on itself at a 45-degree angle. If adhesive sticks to the surface, try a 90-degree angle.

I used this tape initially to pinstripe a painted wall. The tape had good adhesion, came off cleanly and worked well. The striped lines on the wall were crisp and clean.

Got this for masking off areas to paint on some plastic models it worked great nice clean lines and no bleed through on the edges

I got this for craft purposes. It adheres well and gives me pretty clean edges considering the uneven surface I applied it to. I did have a couple of instances where it left adhesive residue but only a tiny amount. My craft projects require application and reapplication and it performed reasonably well. You can see in the photo that the purple bled a little but I attribute that to the thin paint used and that this was probably the third or fourth use of the tape and I may not have had it pressed down as well as I could have. I would say, for single use, it would perform as well as the more expensive brands. The variety of widths is nice to have in a singe order. I will likely be ordering again.

I HAVE USED BLUE TAPE IN THE PAST WHEN PAINTING AND I LIKED THE FACT THAT I COULD GET DIFFERENT WIDTHS IN ONE PURCHASE. IT STUCK WHERE IT WAS NEEDED AND CAME OFF CLEAN.

If you work on guitars and do fretwork this is the tape you want. Sticks very well, can handle being sanded and buffed and peels off without leaving any residue. I like this tape better than the one available at Stewmac and it's half the price.

I bought this more for masking in non painting situations. Mostly for masking off working on instruments to be a protection from sanding and polishing. I wanted something with low residue which this has. At first I didn’t think it had much adhesive strength, but on unfinished wood it was harder to remove than I expected after being in place for 24 hours. Basically it stayed in place.I would buy this again for my purposes. I also believe it could be used as a “painters tape†in a lower perfection situation and with some experimentation capable of making sharp lines with no bleed and easy removal.

I use this tape to secure watercolor paper to my board or to section off areas on the page for painting. And for other art uses. If I pull it off gently & slowly, it doesn't rip my various watercolor papers at all. No residue left behind! I appreciate the various sizes included and the reasonable price!
