This is just what I needed, a 1 inch thick aluminum storage clipboard. It is lightweight and works as intended. Since it is aluminum, it is not the most durable metal and has dents in it already from being used outside for work, but that is how they all are.

This is easy to use. It holds up against the bumps and drops received out on the job site. Great purchase and very worth the money. Easy to open with a lot of storage space. Looks professional and extremely lightweight. Highly recommend!!!

I'm a claims adjuster and needed a solid, professional looking clipboard to take on jobsites. I like that I can fit a legal pad, some pens, and a reduced set of shop drawings/blueprints, so the capacity is nice and it looks good. I wish it were a little sturdier, the latch/clip seems fairly weak, but time will tell. Price is good for what you get.

Really like my aluminum clipboard! After looking at the probable dimensions (note to seller, put the dimensions in your ad!), I decided to give the product a try. I always wanted one of these, but I had an extra interest due to the perfect size. I recently purchased a new Samsung Notebook 9. It's a 13.3", super light laptop. It's about the same size as a Macbook Air. I also purchased a lightweight suede-like leather case to keep it in. But the sleeve was no great protection from squashing or flexing the expensive laptop. I looked at the Pelican cases, but the 1070cc, which is the closest fit, was too big to fit in my leather satchel. I found this clipboard, which fits the laptop and case perfectly! The laptop would fit by itself with no modification (might even rattle around a bit). But to put it in with the case on, you need to bend the pencil case partition down (no problem, it's aluminum! Did it with my thumbs). Then it fits the laptop and sleeve like a glove! And so now I have a stiff, light aluminum box for my laptop, that fits in a 14" leather satchel! Seller should put "13.3" laptop case" in their description and I bet they'd sell a ton to happy little computer toters like me!

After about 3 months of use, the bar firnthe hinge constantly slides out and can catch a glove or finger on it really good and need to consistently push it back in with a pen.The clamp system to help keep closed is very weak and opens extremely easily.The tab on the clioboard so you can put paper. On also snapped off 2 to 3 months in.Would not buy again.

Dangerous product. I sliced my finger opening the latch. Twice! Poor dangerous design. The latch closes over itself and must be pried open. The clasp is weak and bends. This product is dangerous, weak and will not last. DO NOT BUY.

Keeps documents very safe. I use this to hold essential paperwork in my work grab bag (which gets used and abused in and out of job cars/vans and generally chucked around). Not had an issue yet. The clip holds paper well and is a useful addition, however it is fairly thick so it may take some getting used to, however this hasn't really been a problem for me.
