Love this ladder! I was nervous about ordering cause it’s a little pricey but all decent pool ladders are. This one mounts to the deck. We have a 54†pool, deck is just below the top railing and it fits perfect, goes all the way to bottom of pool. It’s very sturdy doesn’t sway or float up and it does come with the flanges needed to mount the ladder to deck. Super easy to clean too!

Based on other reviews when I bought this, I feared the ladder would tend to float upward or that it would have other issues. I've installed it onto a deck whose floor hovers about 12" above the top coping of a 54" high above ground pool and I'm very happy with it. I'm not sure what at least one other reviewer meant when s/he said it doesn't fit a 54" pool--it certainly does, even in my case with a deck that is a foot higher than the pool. Yes, you have to drill through the deck or cut off the ends off the rails to adjust the height, but this is expected.When assembling it I was worried that the plastic balls that fit onto the ends of the ladder that then attach to the bottom step would slip off and the sharp edges of the ladder would cut through the liner, but now that it is installed I realize how stable the ladder is--there is zero movement to it. The bottom of it stays down and doesn't wander at all.I did drill holes in my deck for the ladder tubing to tightly fit through, I replaced the supplied screws with stainless steel screws, and I attached a mat to the bottom step to give my liner extra protection.Could they have supplied stainless steel screws and washers? Yes. Could the balls that fit on the end of each railing be a bit better designed? Yes. However, the end result of the ladder functions perfectly in my opinion. It's very stable, which is exactly what I was looking for. It will be easy to take out of the supplied flanges for the winter and put back each summer, and it doesn't need to be filled with water to hold it down.Four stars instead of five only because it could be better, even though I'm very happy with the final result.

Looks great as a shiny steel ladder but it is VERY VERY SLIPPERYI was wearing Rubber Crocs on my first experience and I still had a couple of bad slips (And I Hurt myself)They should infuse soft rubber traction laminate on the top of stepsQC should be fired and also held for liabilityPlease respond ASAP

We recently installed a deck around our above ground pool. Before our deck, we had a cheap plastic ladder that we absolutely hated. It was wobbly, and very unsafe coming out of the pool. Our son(6'3) and several of his friends had actually fallen getting down off of the ladder.I did my research and took a chance on this ladder. This ladder is solid. It's really easy to put together and all around great quality. You will have to buy a 1 1/2 inch hole saw which can easily be found at Lowes for 5 or 6 bucks. Took it out of the box and installed on a deck board. Install took about 30 minutes total. Also, contrary to a review we read, the ladder DOES come with flanges. I bought 2 separately because a review said they were not included, but to my surprise, they were in the packaging.The box was really beat up when it arrived from FedEx, but all components were there, and the ladder did not have a ding on it. Extremely happy with this ladder and would recommend spending the extra $$ for the quality you will get.

My deck is 60â€. Cut the ladder to size and it is great! I read the reviews and I am thinking the negative ones were probably because people didn’t follow directions. The bottom step has to sit on the pool bottom. This keeps that step from coming off and allegedly poking holes in liner…? Don’t see how that would happen if you put it together correctly …but whatever. We like it. Sturdy enough. May put some anti slip tape on steps but will see. Easy to assemble. Good value for the$. Only for decks…mine is higher than they recommended but it works!

I was looking for a ladder for my above ground pool for a long time. Many were made of plastic and vinyl like materials which break down quickly in the sun and water. Then I came across this ladder. A bit more pricey but well worth it. We have larger folks who need a heavy duty ladder and so far this one does the job. Super simple to assemble. Flexible base so you can easily install on a bit of an angle and is needed for a pool with a cove. Our pool is approximately 54 in and the ladder fit perfectly as I needed an angle on it. Extremely pleased. Highly recommend and would purchase again

Love, love it. tried the plastic ladders the stores try to sell you because they do not have the Blue Wave Stainless steel ladder. The plastic is unsafe shaky and has a bad fit to the pool. This Stainless ladder was easy to put together and it FIT. It was just as advertised. I will recommend to buy the plastic step covers. The stainless can be a little slick for children and us old folks. I highly recommend this pool ladder. Good price, good fast service, and an excellent product. Jette

Sadly the product arrived damaged, upon attempted return we were advised that the freight would be be required to be pre paid (with the carrier of our choice). IN the fine print the vendor had limitations on a max freight coverage which (which was minimal).Based on that the additional freight costs to return would our reasonability which was completely unacceptable.

Great product. Easy to assemble only took about 1/2 hour. Extra wide steps are great for a big guy like myself. Steel construction makes it rock solid.

Ladder was easy to assemble and easier to install than I thought! Length is perfect and is very adjustable to the height of my pool and deck. However, steps are a tad slippery, when wet (in the water) as "pattern" engraved on each steps does not allow for a foolproof usage. Overall, I am very satisfied and I recommend.
