I have a “big boned†and strong willed mutt. When I broke my arm, I was forced to start doing everything with my left (and weaker) arm, including walking my dog. He normally doesn’t pull much, but when he gets the scent of something, nothing stands in his way. This harness was able to give me just enough extra control over him that he didn’t send my flying down the sidewalk. Seems quite sturdy and is a gorgeous color- we got the light blue. While it does slide while we walk and is a bit tricky to put on with just one hand, I’m sure these can both be attributed to user error instead of the actual product. Highly recommend!

The Blueberry brand comes highly recommended. I was looking for a less expensive priced harness since my puppy will outgrow it. My puppy is big and likes to pull. Not comfortable always attaching the leash to her collar since she pulls so much. While she still pulls in this harness, it's not hurting her neck. Color is great, very sturdy and adjustable. The only minor issues is 1) you need to remember how to put it on, which side the label goes on or it won't fit and 2) it will slide to the slide to the side and you may need to adjust it back 3) if you don't have it fitted properly the dog will try and chew it and get it stuck on it's jaws. I like that it's easy to adjust, especially while on the dog and that it has an easy to buckle, buckle. As long as you put it on the right way, it's easy to hook up. You do need to get your dog to step into it or find another way to put it on if they don't like it. It may take some training, but what doesn't with a dog? I would recommend this harness to other dog owners.

I am a Blueberry Pet fangirl, and this harness is just as excellent as their other products. I like the design of this and it worked really well. "Worked" because alas, it is not chew proof (nor did I expect it to be). The harness was left on the dog (6 month old lab/shepherd mix) overnight, and he chewed through one of the side straps. So, we are replacing it .. with ... you guessed it, another Blueberry Pet harness. This time, it will only be on him when being used for walking, etc. The quality of the harness is very good, but it's not bullet (teeth) proof. I share the story as a caution to not leave the harness on when not being supervised if you have a "chewer". Lesson learned.

I usually find Blueberry products to be top notch, however this harness could be better. I was replacing a similar harness whose plastic closure broke. That harness had a center strip that was sewn/attached at the place under the neck, with the ability to adjust under the chest area. This one is loose at both ends with no way to adjust. Also, the little plastic pieces that slide to hold the strips in place once you get the right size, do not stick. They are too big for the straps. I have to slide them back to the edges of the rings every single time I put the harness on. The quality of the strap material is good and strong, and the royal blue color is very nice. But the loose sliders is very annoying.

We needed a step in harness for post op neuter surgery that would work as a hook in for car restraint and instead of collar when our puppy had a cone on his head. He is comfortable and doesn't try to get out of it. When we showed up at the vet with it on, I was told that this style is the best kind to have.

I’ve used this for my golden almost daily for 3 years and it has very minimal wear and tear. This helped a lot with his pulling compared to a regular collar. Adjustable as he grew and easy to put on!

Preliminary review prior to putting on a dog:We purchased this harness as we are driving to another state next weekend to pick up a Golden Retriever puppy. We want to ensure that we have good control of her at any stops.I am a bit apprehensive about using this harness because it is quite flimsy. Aside from that, there is a design flaw in this particular harness. The placement of the Blueberry label is on one of the adjustable sides. However, because of where they chose to place that label, the only way to adjust to its absolute smallest size (if needed), you must remove it with a razor blade.Kind of a stupid design when you get right down to it. You have to alter the harness to use at its smallest if need be.The last thing is that while a 3.5 out of 5 stars (at time of writing this) is not real bad, I did not look at the content of the 1s until today and I am shocked. There are many essentially saying the same thing: Their dog slipped out of the harness way too easily.

This was a revelation, adjusted the straps and popped it on and we were off. No tugging or struggling. Perfect.

Perfect fit for my 4m Shih Tzu. The fired brick colour looks as lovely in person as I had hoped. Good quality material, and seems comfy for him as he has no problems wearing it. Doesn’t even seem to notice it. Bought the matching lead and collar so he has the complete set to strut his stuff in style. No complaints and extremely pleased.

Easy to get my dog into and sturdy clips on the back. My dog doesn't really pull on the lead so no issues with comfort.

Excellent sturdy well made dog harness suitable for large framed English bulldog. Comfortable adjustable fit and helpful with pulling. Great value for money everyday harness.
