File this under the heading of “One of those things you never knew you needed until you had one.â€This is basically a tiny portable black & white printer that you can sync up to your iPhone or Galaxy Android. Once you’ve installed the app and synched the printer to your phone via Bluetooth or the enclosed USB cord, you are ready to go. You can print JPGs, PDFs, and Word text.This device is great for its small size, nearly silent operation, and convenience. You can print out small notes, photos, lists, and whatnot on the enclosed thermal paper. What this is not is a great printer: you are only printing out images and text in slightly-better-than-average 300dpi monochrome. For what it’s worth, it’s a great buy. Just remember, you are getting a decent tiny printer at a decent tiny price. If you want to print beautiful glossy color photos this is not the unit you’re looking for; you’re going to have to look for a very different, much more expensive product. The added benefit of this printer is that it doesn’t require ink or toner, the thermal paper produces the text or image that you are printing.Our daughter is using this for schoolwork and for taking casual candid photos of her friends which get stuck up on dorm room walls. It’s fun and very easy to use.You receive a small size roll of thermal paper – you can purchase refills at most office supply stores and here on Amazon – but you can also use paste-able thermal paper to make your own faux post-it notes. The printer uses 57mm X 30mm refills.I’m giving this device a 5-Star rating because of its decent print quality, value, and its price point. This is an exceptional value especially with the current 30% optional Amazon discount coupon (at the time of this review). This makes a great gift item for students and for folks who like to take pictures on the go.

Bought this for white elephant party and our 20s granddaughter got it and was happy with it. I have not heard anything so that tells me it's good.

I can turn the print field box sideways but you cannot make large print letters the that take up the size of the paper role. So much waisted space! Printer works great but the app is really really bad! I wouldn't recommend this printer because of the ctappy app!

The images in the listing are misleading. They show clear prints that look like high definition printed photographs. In actuality, the images on the prints this printer puts out are grainy and pixelated. In truth, you get what you pay for. At this price point, it's more of a toy.

So this is a great little printer that we have gotten a lot of use out of! The printing quality is a lot better than I expected and the app is super easy to use.My only complaint is that I have no idea where or how to get replacement paper. I cant find any information on what types of paper it takes or what refills would be appropriate
