I’ve been using these seedling heat mats for my reptile enclosures, and they’ve been a great alternative to the more expensive heat mats marketed specifically for animals. They’re much more affordable while still providing consistent warmth.While they are naturally a little cooler than the animal-specific versions, my enclosures are in a metal rack, which helps with insulation and keeps the temperature warm enough for my reptiles. I’ve had no issues with them not providing the right heat levels, and they’ve worked perfectly for creating a comfortable environment.Overall, these heat mats are a fantastic value and a great option if you’re looking to save money without compromising on the care of your reptiles. makes a huge difference indoors. we keep our house about 68 in the winter, these top that heat off perfectly. i took a second mat and placed it on top of my well watered peppers for 48 hours and they germinated right away after this. as soon as they germinate i move them onto a sunny window shelf and new planted seeds take the heat mat. currently have about 130 geraniums, peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes in 3 windows and all doing well. and just so you know, they barely get hot, probably not for outdoor greenhouses unless they're heated a bit. these worked wonders in my cool home in the winter.

These heat pads work great for starting you seeds my heirloom tomatoes and peppers popped in 3 days, the perfect temperature

It warms up the germination tray, but less effective when used in the room where it’s colder during night.

Shipment arrived as expected, - packaging minimal AND effective. Seedlings are currently thriving under plant lights on the 2 mats. Good quality, no issues. No concerns. Happy with this company’s product, would RECOMMEND & would BUY AGAIN!

Bought 4 mats and they are great. Consistent heating for my seed starts. connected two a power strip which is controlled by temperature controller. Have checked heat of trays with Infared thermometer.Consistent temperature set at 76 degrees.Dennis

La alfombrilla se autoregula en temperatura y la puedes usar de dÃa y noche . En mi caso la use 21 dÃas seguidos y sin problema las semillas germinaron súper rápido y todas se lograron.

I use these warming mats to grow seedlings for my winter home hydroponics. They were hotter than I anticipated but not enough to damage anything. I was pleasantly surprised that the electrical cords were reasonably long. I didn't have to use an extension. I would buy them again!

These things are awesome, I grow hot peppers and have seed germination in 6 days! Without them seeds take 3 + weeks to germinate. I have only owned these one week so can't say anything about longevity but super happy with my first use!
