These shades are a bit awkward to place because they are stiff, and, of course, they have to be stiff. The suction cups work well because you can quickly pop up the shade without it being perfectly aligned. In fact, since I mostly drive alone, I often just use one suction cup above the drivers seat and let the other half flop around a little. That way, my steering wheel and seat are kept cool and most of the passenger seat stays shaded as well. It's a little bit of a nuisance to fold it, but once done, it slips under a seat nicely, and is out of the way. I live in southwest Florida, so I really need this, whether it requires an extra few minutes or not. It's well-made and worth the price.

I honestly dont know how this product has three and a half stars. This is a terrible sunshade in my opinion.The pros: Good size for my Honda. And the surface is highly reflective for deflecting the sun's raysThe cons: Literally everything else. First of all, there are no boards inside the sunshade to keep it rigid. So instead of a nice accordion style sunshade that easily unfolds and collapses, you end up with something more resembling a thick aluminum blanket.Instead of internal boards, It relies on two flimsy suction cups at the top of the sunshade to attach it to the windshield and keep it in place. The result is that you end up with more of a sun "curtain" sagging and spilling all over your dashboard. And I can confirm that those suction cups dont stick for very long in the Houston heat.And trying to fold this thing after using it is a study in frustration. Imagine yourself inside the cabin of your vehicle on a hot summer day, trying to fold this aluminum "blanket" while its surface is reflecting the suns rays into your eyes and burning out your retinas. I ended up just wadding it into a ball and tossing it into the back seat.Dont get tempted by the low price like I did. Spend a few extra bucks and buy a better sunshade.

The material is not very stiff so you have to find a way to keep it up. The suction cups do not work in this heat, so it keeps falling of. Managed to use my visor to pinch the ends against the roof of my car. It does keep my car cooler. But it's possible that is just because of the shade it's creating, and not because of insulation

As long as it cover the windshield that’s probably all the matters for me. Suction cups are handy so I don’t need to overlap my visors over it, though the material is cheaper and fragile compared to another one that doesn’t have suction cups.

It’s certainly not a 1 size fits all. I purchased 2 and they don’t really fit either of my cats perfectly, but they are easy enough to use and really help on hot days.Though they are a little thinner than other brands.
