I have been looking for a nice quality, stitched edge gaming mat for a while, to put on our table when we play our board games. Initially I passed this up because of the blue color.... in the product photos it appeared a bit too blue for my taste, plus I was not sure if I would like the thicker foam vs a slimmer mat.Decided to give it a try anyway and purchased it along with another that was thinner, to compare. Definitely prefer the thicker mat, and I was very excited to find that the color is more subdued in real life. Just a matter of preference, but I like that it fades into the background as we play, rather than being front-and-center like one with a pattern or picture.Another great quality is the stitched edging, which will prevent fraying over time, especially as we take it in and out of the case (we live in a small apartment and cannot leave it permanently set up, so it goes back in the carrying case afterwards... another great feature!)Finally, the rubber backing (very similar to mouse-pad bottoms) and weight mean that it really does not slide around as we use it. It stays firmly in place while playing, and is easily rolled up and stored away when not in use. It did arrive smelling slightly rubbery/chemically but we left it out overnight spread on the table and by morning it was gone.HIGHLY recommend giving this mat a try!

Great high quality product for all your gaming needs. Responsive customer service for any needs or questions/concerns. It is very big, bought their biggest green and it fit nicely on my two 6ft tables with just enough around the edges for character sheets/stuff.

As said, the quality on the mat is very nice, but as nice as the bag looks and shows off the branding, this is where they skipped on quality. Material used for the carrying case is like what you would find on a really cheap backpack which unfortunately is not ideal for the stressed a thick large game mat would give it and started splitting at the seam where it gave from the stitching. Fortunately I was able to buy a bag from another game mat company which uses much more rugged material though I had to buy two since the 30 inch bag wasn't large enough to zipper shut with it rolled up and had to get a 4 foot bag and thus also can no longer show off the branding when carrying it. In no way a dealbreaker as the mat is splendid but they may want to consider redesigning how they make their bags if they want to bring more attention to their product since others like myself may be playing in public places.

At $90 I thought twice. However, very nice and the cards move perfectly over the surface…glad I didn’t go for felt. This is a superior product. Only had it a day, played a couple game, love it. Perfect size for the 3x5 for the large kitchen

One of the best purchases I have made for my husband who is an avid game player. Games with many little pieces don't get lost in the design of the tablecloth, and cards are no longer an issue to pick up. This mat works great and I would say is a must if you're really into playing games.

This is a great playmat, covered my 6 foot rectangle table. No wrinkles , looks great and is perfect for game night! If you have a drink, use a coaster as you will get water stains which are tough to remove.

Be the envy of game night. Durable yet soft on the arms when leaning, tough enough to be durable on regular usage firm enough for all characters and miniatures to be able to stand easily. Happy we bought it. Easily packable to put away or to travel to a friends place.

We received the Burgundy one even though my partner ordered the blue one. But what an happy accident, we love it! Very soft, perfect to slide cards around. We play a lot of deck building game and we are really happy with the product.
