I bought these to target crappie and bass and they work great at that. I pair these with 1/16 oz or smaller jig heads and they absolutely drive the fish crazy. I caught about a dozen crappie and large rock bass with these along with a 15 inch smallmouth. I will say the little paddle tail gets bitten off by small fish with sharp gripper teeth but it will still catch fish. My favorite minnow soft bait so far this year.
