Keeps my face warm in most any chilly weather. Great value for the price, breathable and can tuck easy in to shirt/jacket around the neck. Not too large or too small and easy to pull mouth part down.

It doesn’t burn. But it doesn’t stop anything. So you’re still gonna get dirty, and you’re still gonna taste that.

I work in oil and gas in West Texas and we use oil based mud on laterals which means everything we have on the floor needs to be FR. Though West Texas is pretty warm compared to North Dakota, we do get some cutting winds sometimes that are hard to manage with a hardhat preventing a normal hood. This baclava fits the role very well, providing some wind break and warmth on cold windy nights. I was initially a little bummed about the rather large skirt around the base, as loose clothing like this isn't great on a rig - but it works well to fit under my coveralls and keep any drafting at bay.I can't really speak to it's long term comfort for wear, as I am only on the floor a few times a week - but it does work for keeping you clean as well, and is easily washable.Good value in a quality FR baclava.

I ordered this for my 19-year-old daughter, who is a firefighter. It didn't really work well for her. She said it goes up too high underneath her eyes, and then it is too big and baggy in the bottom part. It appears well made, but it just wasn't the right fit for her head.

Very thin and fits weird. Definitely not meant for keeping the cold air out. Not sure about heat because I’m not a welder lol. It’s huge so would be suitable for someone with a large head.

This keeps you nice and warm, and it's super soft. The quality is right on, and cuts the wind and protects the face against the wind and the cold.

I brought this to help with the wind while I'm outside working for 12 hours in the cold and its very thin. Should be worn only in the summer for neck protection. 1 Star

I went on my first backpacking trip and it was way colder than I expected. The nighttime temperature dropped into the 30s. I'm so glad I packed this balaclava. It kept my face warm overnight without having to cover my face with my sleeping bag which is a big no-no.This balaclava is thin and comfortable enough to allow for easy breathing, but it kept my head warm. I like the extra length at the bottom. It prevented a draft from entering through the bottom of the balaclava.Would recommend.
