Boogie boards are not the cheapest. When my son came home with the strap of his board broken, I was a little bummed. Thankfully, this is the inexpensive option and it works like a charm— like new!

Sturdy, easy to install to board and was sizable to a larger or smaller wrist. Kept the board close at hand but was not restrictive to movement.

The loop wasn’t tied properly or broke. Found out at the beach. Had to do a makeshift repair which meant it didn’t attach to the board strongly. So far it’s still attached but not optimistic.

The cuff fit my slim adult wrist just fine, and that and the whole system held strong through a day of especially strong waves for me. I enjoy a good wipeout, so there were many times it was the only way I kept the board, and the bigger waves meant each was a stronger pull than usual.The cord is a little shorter than the one it replaces, which is probably a tradeoff. This one tangled less, and was just about ideal for letting me carry my 45" board how ever I liked. But a longer coil might have softened the strong pulls a bit, and the old leash's excess length tangles weren't a big deal to deal with.
